How in the world am I supposed to beat the Romulan Ship? Every attempt goes the same. As soon as I get close enough to shoot he shoots 4 of the heavy plasma torpedoes at me and I'm dead.

    Have you tried Fire at Will or Cannon Scatter Volley at the torpedoes?

    i get in close, like 0.01 km close... the explosions kill him too as well

    Stay outside of 5 Km, that's tractor beam range. Part of D'Deridex AI is basically to snag you with a beam asap and then immediately launch salvos of multiple heavy torps

    I agree with the first reply use fire at will or a torp spread or even scatter volley will work if you have the thunderchild then use the point defense system other wise use the other ideas.

    The olympic has grav well capability, grav wells work very well against the D'Deridex

      Yeah... heh.... But it didn't have any special NPCs.
