Active or passive trait?

It's slotted on my Delta recruit, but I don't see an icon and no power appears to put in my tray.

So how does it decide which two secs of damage I'm immune from?

    Just like it says.
    Improved/Temporal Insight
    Temporary Immunity from Hull Heals

    Your insight into future events allows you to per-emptively reduce the impact of enemy weapon fire. Activating any hull-restoring ability will grant your vessel a short period of immunity from all damage.

    May only activate one every 45 seconds.
    * to self: Immunity to All Damage for 4/2 sec
    (Max once per 45 seconds)

    Heh, one is likely meant to be once and is a typo...

    But you activate a hull heal/restoring ability...you get 2 or 4 (Improved) seconds of damage immunity. Can only happen once every 45 seconds. You use a hull heal in the middle of nowhere...tada...you've got immunity from nothing and can't get it again until 45 seconds have passed...

    The two or 4 seconds right when you use HE. Then wait 45 secs to be able to use it again.

    Doh, forgot about the hull heal part. So it's a brace for impact with a smaller window. So since I'm still flying the last free escort you get at 40, even at 52, I have one hull heal - HE. Livable for my delta recruit.

    Not had any issues completing missions. Borg alerts I have to be careful....as in very careful.
