So hello, i started this game at the time delta recrutment event started and now i am lv 45... I have alot of questions and i would be really happy if you could help me

- For first my plan is to buy Faelh intel warbird and all future stuff/build is regarding that ship
- Tac consoles i plan to buy from fleet spire with additional 1,6 % crit
- i plan to use gravity well I on this ship
- I was reading about that gravimetric photon torpedo launcher and that Console - Universal - Proton Particle Stabilize.. 2 set bonus gives 3 % crit and additional photon projectile damage so that could be cool
- my biggest dilema is what weapon type to use... antiproton DHC, or romulan plasma DHC, and in that case i would buy 2-3 of spire science consoles with +plasma damage and that science skill that effect hold like gravity well
- i do not know anything about space set ( deflector, engine and shield )... like what type of shield i need etc....

What do u think off things i wrote, and what advice would you share ??

Sounds similar to this build I posted a few months back, if you want to take a look at it.
    SCM - Crystal C. (S) - [00:12] DMG(DPS) - @jarvisandalfred: 8.63M(713.16K) - Fed Sci

    SCM - Hive (S) - [02:31] DMG(DPS) - @jarvisandalfred: 30.62M(204.66K) - Fed Sci

    Tacs are overrated.

A tactically focused grav well warbird I think benefits more from the combination of particle emission torpedo + GW than Gravimetric torp + Grav well. They both do similar things but the emission torpedo effect is more immediate (think of it as eject warp plasma in torpedo form, it disables rather than counter-acting motion and triggers with every hit) and the additional plasma burn damage can be supplemented with a plasma energy weapon build (which romulan equipment caters to.)

The space you save in not using the 2-set dyson equipment can also be put towards more embassy consoles (with + plasma damage) or something else (such as a plasmonic leech which you can get easily as a KDF-aligned romulan from the low tier KDF scourge destroyer) thats compliments your build and playstyle.

And as far as space equipment sets, the Solonae set (rewards from the mission "A Step Between the Stars") isn't that bad for sci-oriented warbirds (buffs particle gens, aux and shield power, provides a small hull heal proc, and improves accuracy). Its also free (with slight grinding.)

Use the experimental beam not the console and use proton (not antiproton) weapons. There no resistance to it and it looks nice.

In that case then why not a Dyson Destroyer warbird? Another proton weapon (so bigger proportional benefits from using the Dyson equipment set) and a stronger sci-focus than the intel warbird?

my plan is not to play some heacy science warbird... it is just to roll 1-2 science skills to in time of need i can pop another gravity well to help my team. thats why i am curious about torpedo, because i want it for same purpose.. in time of need to give the edge...thats why i wanted that gravimetric in the first place

Hmmm... let me know how that bird works out for you. My Rom Tac officer is in her T5U scim and loving it... other than the fact I can't seem to get her shields to stay up....
