Unable to login

Not been able to login since the patch. Just get the error "unable to authenticate. connection to the account server timed out."

    Same thing.

    Can't get in with the error you listed above.

    If the problem was server wide I would have expected more posts on here which is rather puzzling.

    I have same issue, same error msg. Was fine before server went down for maint this morning, now since patch cant even log in.

    im having the same issue as to not being able to log in. ive changed my password ive restarted my computer and still nothing. just going to wait for the fix to be complete

    Same problem, I was able to login for about 30 mins after the servers came back up then I was booted, game reported I was disconnected from server, but my internet was running fine.

    haven't been able to login since, says connection to account server has timed out.

    tried launching game client from Arc and separate, ends with the same thing.

    could the op change the topic name to "account server timeout", or something like that, to get someone's attention?

    Same problem here. Time out, Server no Responding. I get on for not even 10sec. Worked fine Yesterday. Been waiting to play for 2wks. Just about ready to find a new game.......

    Am having the same issues, I was able to log in and play for a bit this afternoon but now i can't log in again.

    Add another one to the list. not able to login all day. Its after 8 pm central time here. Wonder if I should wait or fill out a bug report?

    I'm having the exact same problem. Can't get on at all. Since this only appears to affect a small percentage of players, I'm not holding my breath for a fix.

    same here went to log in and no dice went to the gateway and said I have no characters so hope the update did not wipe out my work.

    same here, cant login, does like 5 tries to connect to the server, and then gives up, i tried to delete the prefs and cache, coz i thought it might help, but nada, same thing
    do we need a signature? why?

    ive had something similar like this happen to me on patches on the past. try going to your fire wall and turning it off while activating the launcher. it seems that something in the patch sometimes resets your fire wall so that it cannot update the launcher or verify your patch files.


    not sure what the problem is. but once you turn off the fire wall temporarily and launch the launcher. it starts to verify the files and usually the game will then launch for me after that.


    then turn you fire wall back on don't for get to turn it back on. ! hope this works for some of you. I TRIED IT YESTERDAY AND IT WORK FOR ME.
