Length of time levelling up a delta recruit.

stuart1965stuart1965 Member Posts: 691 Arc User
When I first started a delta recruit, I had no idea how long it would take to reach level 50.
In the end it took me 5 days to reach 50.
The rewards look good up to level 50 then they stop.
I can not figure out why it stopped at 50 and not 60.
Perhaps I got confused about the account wide rewards?
Not everything the delta recruit gets, goes to your other toons.
My assumption was all rewards the delta recruit gets, all other toons get too? Obviously not. so was abit disapointed with that.

They want to get you to 50 as quickly as possible so you can slog through Argala, I mean, the Delta Quadrant.

Everything that is account wide can be found at the Temporal Agent of your faction.

as he said, you need to visit the Temporal Agent of your faction to claim your rewards with other characters but only with non delta characters, they are not rewarded automatically.
if you have other delta characters they cannot claim the account wide rewards.
first of course you need to claim the delta characters rewards via the delta interface, if you have multiple delta characters you cannot claim the account rewards multiple times.
there are no levelling rewards past lv50 but you may still have some other rewards to get for playing the story lines if you reached lv 50 before completing them all, as many have.

for a list of delta and the account rewards look here. >

although I am only up to lv40 I have had no problem claiming all the rewards.
they are not the same always so not everything a delta gets alt characters get though in most cases alts get something.

When I think about everything we've been through together,

maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,

and if that journey takes a little longer,

so we can do something we all believe in,

I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.

They don't to go any higher then 50.. You should hit at least 52-53 by the time you finish all the story arcs PRIOR to Soloene dyson Sphere and the Jenolan Dyson sphere. Once you start on the mssions involving the spheres and the delta quadrant you should make 60 with no extra real grind..

And face it, the mission rewards in delta are pretty generous. I'll see myself how correct I am over the next few days and I bring up a KDF Delta, and get my rom finished off on the brenn arc stuff (stuck at the bug).

the only way to truely know is to simply go do it..

    git crack'n on it you!

I went to 50 as fast as possible, to get my Rom one of the T6 Ships. But there are a couple of road blocks to the Delta Quad. You need to do the Solanae intro, then the Delta into, and then the Neelix Mission which opens up the Argala Patrol Mission which is the one that levels your starship fast.

I am right in the middle of it, and if I cannot get that Argala Mission I will just drop the mission and pick it up again, rinse and repeat.

Roms only have 2 Tier6 ships. They probably should have said that you can only fly faction ships at t6, so Roms cannot fly their aligned ships.....oh well.

Mine is only at lvl 35 now. I had been actually taking my time to read the dialogue in the missions, to see if they added anything for Delta Recruits. But it seems that the only things they added were a few dialogue pop-ups just pertaining to the Iconian tech or info in the few missions that have them (and of course the tutorial). Has anyone noticed any other new dialogue in the missions? If not, I guess I'll just skip through the dialogue from now on. :(

Yeah, the only difference is the Delta symbol chats, and the voice overs from them seem to run out at level 30 or so. That is pretty telling.

Getting to 50 is a cake walk. Then once you hit 50 and suddenly realise you need pretty much the same amount of XP it took you to get from 1-50, to go from 50-60 and the next year and a half of your life will be dedicated to gathering spec points which they seem to keep adding more of at an alarming rate so the goal keeps getting further away whilst the XP gain continues to decrease. They call this 'Endgame', like it's content.
Join date is wrong, I've actually been around since STO Beta.
True alters don't have a "main". Account wide unlocks for all unique event rewards!!

I have one at 6 (I'm doing him with my son who can't play much) and one leveling by myself. But even the one I'm leveling solo is only at 18. I'm spending more time playing Space-Barbie than actually doing missions.

You're aiming for the wrong goal. "Master all the specs" isn't supposed to be achievable with normal play; it's there to keep a carrot in front of you so you don't quit between content drops. So you feel like there's a reason to play at all.

"Play, have fun, collect gear" is the goal. If I were trying to master all the specializations, I'd have gone mad.

    Oh... Lets see...

    Faeth
    Aelahl
    D'khellra (D'deridex variant)
    Baratan (Command Eng cruiser)
    Deihu (Command Sci cruiser)
    Vastam (Command Tac cruiser)

I Count 6 T6 ships for Romulans (not counting the 8 all-faction ones)
