[W->S]x2 vs [W->S]

Is the [W->S]x2 modifier of epic fleet warpcores working?

Both ultra rare [W->S] and epic [W->S]x2 are giving me the same boost to shields power.


With no warpcore equiped I have:

Weapons: 115
Shields: 55

Equiping the ultra rare I have Shields:68. The bonus I think is OK, 7,5% of 115 + 4,5 from the warpcore type, that's 13 points.

However when I equip the epic I also have Shields: 68. I was expecting 7,5% of 115 applied twice + 4,5 from the flat bonus, that's 21 points.

    It is not. There are probably a half-dozen (unanswered) bug reports on it in the gameplay bug report section; this bug was reported Pre-DR and is getting frustrating. I'm just glad I blew the resources on tribble not live.

    Then I won't waste my resources upgrading another warp core.

    Just to clarify, a W->A W->S core is working fine - so long as the core doesn't have W->S before it goes epic, it will work 100% as you'd expect.

    send a ticket, many have because w->s x2 is broken , you only get x1

    I have sent a ticket and the response is "we will correct this in the future" ... has been 2 1/2 months since ...

    Its a huge waste of dil and EC ... a rip off ... I feel scammed

    I would glady get that item deleted and get my EC / upgrades/ dil back
