Lost Delta Mission Artifact

I had just finished the Researcher Rescue ground mission and found and used the Iconion artifact when my computer crashed (which only happens lately when I use a Delta mission item for some odd reason). Once I was able to log back in I checked my Delta Recruit log and noticed I did not get credit for the Iconion artifact. I was, however, given the option to continue the mission, but when I zoned into Kassae, the mission log had advanced to the next phase of the quest and would not allow me to go back to the planet to reactivate the Delta Mission. I submitted a GM request and their response was "Regretfully we won't be able to assist you regarding your request. At this time, progress that has been lost due to disconnection or connection issues won't be credited. For this situation, the character would have to continue with the current progress that is available. Regards, Kelias." Now, the way the Delta Missions are setup it is literally impossible for me to complete the Collect portion of this mission line. Only 7 items exist and you have to collect ALL 7 items to get the bonus. So at this time I have to forego the 50 Delta Marks as well as the "Collect Iconion Tech" bonus item. So why exactly would I continue the Delta Mission line?

The game malfunctioned and completed the mission without my acknowledgement or permission, and I have to live with it...sounds like sub-par programming to me! Maybe they should build in some functionality that allows the GMs the ability to actually help the customers rather than copy and paste some BS excuse like At this time, progress that has been lost due to disconnection or connection issues won't be credited. Or maybe they should hire some GMs that aren't lazy and actually give a TRIBBLE about the player base. I am (or was) a monthly subscriber, but this is still crappy customer service even for the free players.

You can replay the mission and get the iconian tech piece that you need.

I made a mistake in one of my KDF missions and didn't get the information/tech at the right time, and had to replay to get it. :) Not the exact same situation , but it can happen & your item and progress can be fixed.

    Regards

    This.

I missed an item on the first playthrough, had to ask the community for help, got it on the second try. Counted as progress in the task-manager.

Me thinks either you made that bit up about the GMr or... yeah it's made up. STO customer service never replies like that. It's always a boiler-plate about beaming up and starting over, or sorry we can't help please file a bug report.

NEVER in the five years I've played have I seen a personalized signed response.

Troll post is troll. Move along now.

You know, posting correspondence between you and a GM is against the rules ... really shouldn't have done that. If people don't want to believe you oh well, you know the truth and that's all that matters.

replay the mission collect the reward then your done you don't even have to finish the mission as long as it show in your DR UI, just had a fleet mate that missed it on that mission and he ask if he had to play the whole thing I said no as long as it show that you collected the Iconian piece your good.

as far as customer support we all feel your pain, but that is what the community is for when it comes to things likes this just ask and in most cases you will get an answer.
