I was expecting 6k, so 5k is a very pleasant surprise. Thanks Cryptic :D

+500 zen per FSM (so +1500 more = 6500 zen), at least I'm assuming you only need one FSM if you own the c-store variants. You're thanking them for charging you $5 more.

That's for all three T6 Iconic ships (Galaxy, Negh and D'D)?

Negh'Tev still has no mention of a cloaking device, even in the store description...

Well jjdez, STO is not exactly a charity.

I completely expect to be charged for new items in a F2P model game, just wanted to comment on how the OP thought he was getting a 'deal.' lol

Yes, that's for the cross-faction bundle. Or 2.5k Zen down from 3k Zen each.

These are already T6 ships and I'm just looking forward to playing with them as is. If I decide to get the fleet versions later, so be it, but that has nothing to do with the fact that they are currently a pretty good deal IMO.

Remember when ships weren't $30? ha. Charge more for ships, get thanked when player base with gold fish memory thinks they're getting a bargain basement deal with what used to be a regular par for the course bundle price.

    Genius, Cryptic. Pure genius. :D

And don't forget that most of us have already bought these ships multiple times already!

As a D'Deridex fan, I already own the following:

D'Ridthau, D'Deridex Retrofit, Fleet D'Deridex Retrofit (which has been upgraded to T5U!)

So this will be the fourth time I buy this particular ship.

I'm sure Galaxy captains have it even worse. How many versions of that ship exist in this game now?

Three myself. This will be my fourth. Yes, this feels like a Star Wars ReReReReRerelease Special Supreme Ultimate Edition DVD, but the pain isn't so bad when you contraband for your dil/zen. Can't imagine how you people actually fork over actual cash for this stuff. I mean $30 a ship? Most games expansions go for that.

You mean pre-FTP when T5 ships were $20.00 - and the Galaxy X was $25.00? You mean when you also needed to pay a $15.00 monthly Subscription fee just to play on top of the C-Store prices? You mean before the Dilithium Exchange so that you always needed to pay full-price in the C-Store and never had the option of getting it cheaper or for free?

Yeah. I remember those days well. :)
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

The pricing is a bit mind-boggling. Somebody that bought a Guardian did 3000 Zen for it...so okay, perhaps the 2500 Zen for these Iconic ships reflects a discount for them being Iconic ships. So uh, that Pathfinder at 3000 Zen...

It was like the pricing on the Command Battle Cruisers. If they were to have matched what had happened in the past with things like the Bortasqu'/Odyssey...they would have been 3500 instead of 3000 (along the lines of the 2500 to 2000). But that didn't happen - they were 3000. And now, they've dropped out the next ships at 2500 instead of 3000.

So what about those folks that paid 3000 Zen for their non-Fleet T6 boats, eh? Hell, what about the folks that spent 2500 Zen for their non-Fleet T5 boat where they also dropped out an Upgrade Token, eh? Hell, what about the 2000 Zen folks that did that, eh?

If we look at what we've got...

    T5 9 console: 2000 Zen + 500 Zen (Upgrade Token) + 500 Zen (Fleet Module) = 3000 Zen FT5U 11 console
    T5 9 console: 2000 Zen + 700 Zen (Upgrade Token) + 500 Zen (Fleet Module) = 3200 Zen FT5U 11 console
    T5 9 console: 2500 Zen + 500 Zen (Upgrade Token) + 500 Zen (Fleet Module) = 3500 Zen FT5U 11 console
    T5 9 console: 2500 Zen + 700 Zen (Upgrade Token) + 500 Zen (Fleet Module) = 3700 Zen FT5U 11 console
    T5 10 console: 2500 Zen + 500 Zen (Upgrade Token) = 3000 Zen FT5U 11 console
    T5 10 console: 2500 Zen + 700 Zen (Upgrade Token) = 3200 Zen FT5U 11 console
    T6 10 console: 2500 Zen + 500 Zen (Fleet Module) = 3000 Zen FT6 11 console
    T6 10 console: 3000 Zen + 500 Zen (Fleet Module) = 3500 Zen FT6 11 console
    T6 11 console: 3000 Zen = 3000 Zen FT6 11 console

...and it's hard not to go lolwut?

In the end it costs more with the fleet modules.

Basically I should choose between a brand new PS4 title that just came out or... three ships in a MMO where I can't do nothing but grind. Yeah. I can't say I'm really interested.
