it occurred to me that wile this is going on, it would be one of the few times you could find low level pvp active. not since LoR has it really been possible to find.

i think my stipend might have accumulated enough to get what i like to call "my 3 favorite ships in a 3 pack", i haven't played for longer then it takes to do a new featured episode once since before the winter event, i haven't played any of the remastered episodes that they have done in the last 2 years or so, i'm not all burnt out on grinding, and the possibility of low level pvp all makes me want to carebear it up and get one of these temporal recruits to max level. it didn't look like any of the rewards required you to complete any reputation or specialization to get them, at no point will anything need to be upgraded, so this should be a practically 0 grind experience i think.

is cryptic's nefarious plot to get people back in the game working? maybe, but not in the way they were hoping in my case, im just here for the trek and pvp, like always.

given the response (Or lack of same) to efforts to get people thinking "Low Level PvP", and the reactions I've noted on the topic, I think it's going to end up being you, and me. :(

I actually brought the idea forward both on the KDF channel, and in Ker'rat-and most players are intent on grimly grinding as fast as possible to endgame, rather than enjoying themselves.

    It's very sad.

lol, there isn't anything to even do with a done, maxed out character anymore with pvp effed, unless MAX DEEPS in ISA 10000 times gives you a hard on. truly, i pity those people. its pointless to fully max out these temporal ones anyway, the rewards stop before you have to do actual end game progression grind thank god, just keep your current mains.

sto cant be anything but Barbie RP dreamhouse in space now, with dysfunctional game mechanics and stupefying barriers of entry on EVERYTHING, even if pvp could still be good, thats FAR too much BS between you and a good time. in adition to rampant imbalance, there's the grind itself. they introducing so many must have grinds, it stops being worth bothering to log in. their solution? to double down on new grinds for must haves. im shocked they had layoffs, described as a slaughter.

if you cant enjoy the story line there's not much for you here. somehow low level pvp can still exist in like the eye of that storm, totally grind free, but there's not enough left smart enough to see it.

well...Hope you'll be available to play when I'm on then, I may be able to dragoon/shanghai/con some people into joining here and there if we have opponents as we level up...

One the reasons I'm going to level up a character is to low-level PvP. It's not like I'm going to actually use my Delta recruit: I've got fully rep'ed alts I don't play and I hardly don't play the game anymore so the traits are useless to me.
