The galaxy revamp isn't. It isn't going live until Season 10; probably at the end of the month aka when the "Delta Recruitment Event" ends.
Keep in mind that Cryptic has multiple levels of codebase development that get fused together for Holodeck releases.
Something like a ship model update might hit live servers before test servers. The test server code is not necessarily 100% what will go live and things can go live that skip the Tribble test server.
Well, they did remove the mission that came after Defense Contract that required the 10 computer cores with LOR, and when asked about it all we got was "we would never remove content without telling you." So, go ahead and figure out what is really happening...

In that instance, they probably didn't remove the mission, they just removed computer cores.
Another patch and still no sign of the missions "Defense Contract" or "Sh'marr".
Can we get confirmation about whether or not these missions have been removed permanently?
And if so, will we be given a new location where we can acquire Deuterium Surplus, which is currently a reward of Defense Contract?
these mission are still in game and in fact the only thing that is not part of the "Defense Contract" is the cores no big loss there IMHO, sell what you have for the lil EC they give and move on, Sh'Mar is still in the same place it always has been infact I am at that exact location (just under the Zibal System is where the transport spawns that is where you get the mission and do it) now as I type this so unless you are totally blind it has not been removed.

Then I guess I am totally blind, because I have been checking the new Sector map on Tribble since it has been released, and I don't see Sh'mar anywhere.

It would also be nice if they would confirm whether or not they are in fact removing the current implementation of Borg Red Alerts (as they currently exist on Holodeck) and replacing them with a simple "Kill X Borg Groups' (IE they are just like a regular 'Deep Space Encounter' on Holodeck, just with Borg ships - no B'Ger at the end, no EXP boost, etc.)
^^
If this is the case that they will become what they now are on Tribble, it's another case of Cryptic just flat out REMOVING content many players enjoy, which is a decision process I'll never understand. Cryptic appears to be the only MMO developer that routinely flat out removes game content with either no, or an inferior replacement.

Sounds like a bug - if we were going to remove a mission from the game, we'd just remove it, not try to sneak it past you. I'll forward the issue to QA.
If that is a bug, it looks like it's one of those that's impossible to squash without causing serious damage to the content that's been released since..but I'm not a coder, so I wouldn't know. What I do know is that I have never been offered Salvage Dispute, simply because I couldn't get enough computer cores (I think I topped at 9) before they were dropped.

I'm not a coder either, but I'd hazard a guess that some update just accidentally turned off the computer core drop. It's been so long I don't remember was it about the time that we started getting MkXII drops in the rep system?
That's the only time I can really think that drops were messed with before Delta Rising and the level cap increase.
Devs could you maybe go back and look at that, or is "it Dead Jim?"

It was around the same time as LoR/season 6 "Under Siege" launched, or at the very least when we were given access to NR and Fleet Holdings.
Salvage Dispute was removed completely with LOR. The cores were removed from the Defense Contract mission and the system that Salvage Dispute took place in was repurposed to a rom only mission. I still have toons with enough cores to run Salvage Dispute but the mission no longer exists.
any word on when the story completion accolades that are already on holodeck will be added to tribble, so that people can start transferring their toons again? to have such a simple thing to keep us from copying to tribble is really stupid
Star Treking, across the universe. Only going forward because we can't find reverse...

That feels about right. All my characters have the cores except my Romulan.

Even if it is deliberate, they should given us some confirmation by now. Legacy of Romulus was almost two years ago. Adjudicatorhawk thought it was a bug, but not every employee at Cryptic knows every single detail. Seriously, can someone at Cryptic confirm whether the computer core fragments from "Defense Contract" and the mission "Salvage Dispute" were intentionally removed?

Fascinating.
Does this mean these things aren't going live on April 2nd?
Delta recruitment ends on May 26th and they said that season 10 will be launching in the middle of the event.
from Laughingtrendy: We'll be featuring a new Delta Recruitment system with the launch of season 10, for lower levels

AH so I can take my time grinding up enough dilithium before I get it play with em for a few hours and go back on the retired list lol
The T6 negh'var is what brought me out of my shell though its the only thing in over a year that i've been interested in this game lol.

Is this legit?
She later clarifies that the Delta Recruitment and Season 10 are separate events.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed, I'd like a response on this as well.

S10 was never going to be the Delta Recruitment and if you thought that well you know the saying "that's what you get for thinking"

I just thought I'd provide a reference for this.
