- We only need to create the character during the event - if it takes us longer than the event to finish the content and levelling, we can still collect all character and account wide rewards for gaining levels and attaining Delta goals even a month or two after the event ends?
- When our delta recruit complete a goal (I forget which) he'll get some basic crafting Doffs including the Aegis doff (currently only available via the RnD assistance assignment at random) - can we xfer this Doff to another character on our account? I already levelled and invested in one particular character to be my "crafter".
- When the Delta R is fully levelled, whats the rationale for making it your new main character after you've invested so much in another (at least one) character - unless you are new to STO it would seem he would fall into "yet another alt" status...right?
#1 - No. Rewards should disappear when the event ends. I believe you only need to level up your Delta Recruit to level 50 to get the rewards. It has been a while since I read the blogs. It's pretty easy to get level 50 by the time the event ends. I suppose as long as you can do one mission per day you should be fine.
#2 - Unknown if the Doffs can be transferred.
#3 - Whether you want to make the Delta Recruit your main toon is all up to you. The event is more for drawing new players to STO.
I'm not really seeing where this would become my main character, but I could see it as it becoming my main alternate character, maybe........... that would be a helluva push for it though seeing as how my main alternate character is pretty built-up as well........ they should keep bringing things back and tie it to this delta character so that you keep building it up, also here's an idea, just for the delta character how about buffing the sponsorship tokens so that for the event we can bug you double the rep in addition to what we get now

Just wanted to let you know that this one is false. According to the newest blog you only need to get past the tutorial before the event ends, then you could theoretically take all the way until the day the server shuts down for good to finish earning the 1-50 rewards. Also account unlock rewards will be availiable forever, including on avatars you might create years from now. Which I think is a pretty neat deal.:D
As Zephram Cochrane once said, "That'll do, pig. That'll do." - April 1st 2015.
Unless the Dilithium per kill is significant, I find the rewards underwhelming. Far less than what I managed during the last CE event per unit of play time.
It's nicely done and I like how it's functionally set up and the theory behind it. But I see it as a net loss in time away from my main (and earning Spec Points).

Okay... I didn't have a chance to read the newest blog yet.

I don't think this is designed around the super-grinder min/maxer who has to have everything NOW NOW NOW.
It's designed around the new player and bringing them in... with a nice nod to the veteran players... but not really designed around them. It's got some nice stuff... but if you're looking at min/maxing rewards... this isn't the event for you no.
