So hello. I plan to start tactical romulan when event starts and i would be gratefull for any info:
- i see that romulan vessels have 40 less power in system and i am curious how much of a cripple is that for tactical captain
- i plan to use 3dhc in front adn 1 torpedo, and 1 borg cutting beam and romulan hyper plasma in the back... i really like torpedoes and i must have them xd... especially that torpedo spread.. beautifull...
- what is a difference between romulan warbirds and federation escorts in term of gameplay... i assume that warbirds are more squishy so they ask for better control and piloting skills ?
Any additional info regarding this topic is awesome thing...thnx

The biggest gameplay difference is Battle Cloak and Singularity Powers. With Rom/Reman Boffs with the right traits (Superior Romulan Operative, Superior Subterfuge, Superior Infiltrator), you can get a nice damage buff when coming out of cloak, and reduce the CD to recloak The BOFFs you get while leveling should put you on a good path to getting what you need.
If you have any lower Tier ships with whatever faction you play as your main, you can reclaim them and grab their special consoles, which can help the leveling process, but that only works for the faction you ally with around level 10ish.
u dont want your aux to low as science abilities relay on aux including healing abilities.

slap thay hyper up front bro... the triple torp of death is best there imo. Honestly Ive never noticed a power issue on my ships and several run cannon builds, but Im not a min/max'er. The best advice I can give is to not ignore your singularity powers, and remember you have a BATTLE cloak.
Singularity Jump and Quantum Absorption are fun little powers, and the one that super charges your weapons for a bit always adds a nice spice when you're dominating. Also remember that your singularity charge level is a penalty to stealth while cloaked.
Most warbirds are pretty tough imo for vessels that kinda split the difference between escort and cruiser. The Ar'kif can be a little glassy as can the Ha'feh but if you're used to escorts they're not a problem.
