Trait Loadouts

It would be nice if we could save a pair of trait loadouts for our captains.

Being able to quickly switch between space and ground traits for example would be extremely handy in my view.

I would think it'd be fairly simple too.

    we shouldnt need to switch at all. thats the entire problem with the current system.

    I agree the captain traits needs to have separate space and ground trait parts, but I also want traits to have load outs. Or even better just simply be included as a part of ship load outs.

    All I'm gonna say on this subject is "watch what you wish for"...

    Cryptic "designed" captains to be either A: Blended, B: Focused on one aspect to the detriment of the other.

    Most players usually use a type B build, with a space focus. Then when doing, say, a run of Ground STFs for an accolade or something like that, run a "B" with a ground focus.

    Complaining one too many times to Cryptic more than likely will cause them to separate the existing traits into space and ground like they did with the reputations instead of going 9/9 with space and ground lists or making a "Captain trait loadout", especially since traits are only designed to be changed in social zones...

    Min/max then complain about the work behind it at your own peril...

    Reputation traits were never "separated" into ground and space. They have always been separate. There was never a choice between a ground trait and a space trait, each choice in the old system was between two space traits or two ground traits. The nerf simply reduced the total number of traits you could slot at once.

    I too would like to see savable trait/rep for each ship

    I have one ship that uses crit damage while the other cruiser I have lots of hull and shield rep

    It's a pain in the TRIBBLE having to change it everytime I swtich ships around.

    I would also like to see ground and space traits and this would make Cryptic $$. Why ? Because now i have space or ground builds, my space builds don't get lock-box ground traits (i'm lazy and don't like to switch traits) but if if i could slot ground traits without switching all my characters would get ground and space (lock-box) traits, so more $$ for cryptic.
    Only problem i see, it would make the game more fun (so when they give us this system it would be buggy as hell, to off-set the fun !!)

    Also I see no logical reason why I cant switch from ground to space specializations once I enter a map change

    If I switch to ground I should be able to bring up commando from pilot for instance

    Because they don't know how to do it. Half my bridge officers can't stay in their seats as it is. Add indoffs and traits . . . It would be nice.

    I don't think we should separate personal traits into ground and space, because if we ask for that, you know they will only let us slot 4 at a time like the reputation traits.

    What we need to do is keep everything just how it is, just create a loadout feature for traits basically identical to the one for ships so you can switch more quickly.
