I've been having a LOT of fun with Foundry missions of late. Just finished the "Valley of the Shadow" series on my Romulan, definitely one of my favorite Foundry stories overall. What are some other good Romulan-oriented missions? And yes, I need to play through Ghosts of War, I will be doing that soon, though probably on my main Fed.
Also looking for anything to do with the Deferi, or continuing the Preserver storyline from the Breen featured series. One of my favorite Foundry missions, "Checks and Balances," doesn't appear to be up anymore, and I loved that it dealt so much with the Deferi. Anything continuing dangling or dropped plot threads from the official missions is usually fun for me, too.
And I'm wondering, too, are there any missions that are written for Vulcan captains? Or at least have dialog options for if you're playing a Vulcan? Might seem like a minor detail, but running a lot of Foundry missions feels weird when I'm on Samvok, 'cause a lot of the dialog responses just don't seem right. Not any author's fault, just my own idiosyncrasies, but I wondered if anyone had done something from a Vulcan perspective.
But really anything with a great story, overall, appeals to me. Very rarely am I disappointed more than when something billed as story-oriented turns out to be just a super-thin "plot" disguising a farming mission. It hasn't happened often, but I've hit a couple of those lately.
Well, my series is themed around Caitians and Ferasans so nothing that you specifically mentioned. However, it does have 6 episodes currently out which barely scrape the surface of the story I hope to make once I return to episode production. You can find all of my info here. I recommend reading the first couple of posts by me to absorb all the information. Perhaps it may catch your eye considering very seldom do missions come out about a rather unknown species.

Just to clue you in one one of the differences between Foundry and Cryptic missions here...
Foundry does not have the capability to do species-specific dialogue options. So you'd be looking at the mission being written from/to a Vulcan point of view in the first place, or perhaps an author who 'faked' it using the branching dialogue option (without the capability to actually lock it to other species).
In fairness to Cryptic, they apparently didn't have that capability until recently either, reference how there's no corresponding dialog if you play "Of Bajor" as a Bajoran or "Ancestral Sin" as a Vulcan or Fed Rom. I was very surprised that my Bajoran got the option to tell Rugan Skyl to sit down and shut up in "Surface Tension".
Although now that they do have it, I'm irritated they don't use it in several places in Delta Rising. "Operation Cooperation Conspiracy" would be so much better if while playing as a Romulan you got to congratulate Rai Sahen on her ingenuity instead of having to give the same half-hearted protests as a Starfleet character.

Yes, I am aware that Foundry authors can't be species-specific through game mechanics, but I was thinking of either of those two options you described, sorry if I wasn't clear.

Glad you like my series. Drogyn's currently repurposing one of his early Fed series, "Dissent", as a Romulan Republic series; you may want to keep an eye out for it when it gets redone.
Sirboulevard also made a "grand pseudo-finale" to the Republic story arc, "Nova Roma". Kind of a mindless romp but I still liked it (and the Nova Roma city map he made is beautiful).
You could try my mission, "Yesterday's Starfleet". Last I checked, it was at four reviews, so still one shy of being available to non-reviewers. It doesn't hit any of the specific themes you said your looking for, but it has a definite focus on story, with a lot of combat as well. It needs a little more polish, but I'd like to get at least a few more reviews first so I can hit everything at once.
In my experience, the custom search filter is very helpful. If I was looking for a Deferi mission, for example, I would set my search parameters to:
20 mins(min length, to make sure it qualifies for rewards), 1 hour max length(because I don't enjoy playing super long missions)
Include ALL: story, space, ground(because I enjoy a mix of space and ground gameplay)
Then I would search the term "deferi" or "Defera". My results would almost certainly not be grind type missions and would pick up any mission that mentions the deferi or defera sector block in the mission description. Of course, with the new top 3 system you could just fly around the Defera block and see what missions pop up.
Sometimes I will also just search vague terms like "missing", "investigate", "explore", etc, just to see what comes up. Example, example, example.
I really did, even though I couldn't for the life of me find the "easter egg" on your last map. :-P Love that whole "epilogue," though.

I just played through Descent a couple of weeks ago. It was really well-done, though I found the end to be rather anticlimactic. I'll definitely give it another shot with my Rom when it's re-released; and I'll give Noma Roma a look, too. Thanks!

Good suggestions; I already search for Deferi or Defera once or twice a month to see if anything new's been added. Just wanted to see if anyone here knew of ones I was missing.
And I do actually enjoy playing long missions, if I know what I'm getting into ahead of time.
My mission "One Of Our Telepaths Is Missing" is a story-based mission about Romulans (among other things!), and I've done my best to include dialogue options that work for Vulcans. 35 minutes or thereabouts. http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?p=23443231 It's going to appear on "The Author's Outpost" podcast tomorrow night (Twitch TV, Tuesday 8pm EDT).
You'd probably like my series "The Replacements", but it's still in development. Part 0 is out. You can watch the trailer here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DspSQjvVRWM .
It has a strong Vulcan main character, as well as some Romuland and Ferengi presence.
My very first mission, Raptor's Reflection, has some focus on Romulans. There is some challenge in playing it with a Romulan character, however, since one map takes place inside the player's ship and the architecture is Federation-based. If we could create alternate paths through different-looking maps I'd correct this, but it is an unfortunate foundry limitation.
Here are the details:

Thanks for the heads up! I've always enjoyed the Caitians, the few times they were expanded on over the years, so I'll give it a shot.
Anyone else?
"Rise of Mol'Rihan" - Set in 2410. Takes place after the events of the Romulan Rep (Gateway found - Delta Quad etc)

It takes place at Vulcan and plays off the Tal Shiar experimenting with Borg technology, if you're interested.
Other missions. I've made:
"Crows Nest"
A saucer section crash rescue mission.
And coming soon:
"Q-Trip."
A story with Q.
