A little breakdown of what I have had since the new patch....
First I could not log in. Cannot connect to server etc... Ok this was sorted.
Tried Azure nebula to see the new changes and how they were. Ships didn't spawn after a few so could not complete.
Ok, so try the new mission.
Got to Hakeev's hideout, need to go through some maze. Died once and started back on a balcony with a big empty space in front of me and a huuuuge drop. Cannot go any further. From what I hear this is one of MANY bugs in this mission.
Ok so beamed up, can't be bothered with any of the workarounds.
Borg sector patrol popped up whilst I was there. Ok, I'll do this. Why not ?
Killed off 4 squadrons of Borg. And then...... Nothing. Next ship does not spawn, so cannot complete.
As said, great stuff. Love the way this game is going. You actually TEST stuff before going live ? And how can you introduce OLD bugs that have been fixed before ? Lately we just seem to be going around in circles and it's very tiresome.
Really not looking forward to Season 10 as half of it's just not going to work. Which is sad.... We SHOULD be looking forward to this stuff. If you want cash to keep this game going and pay your wages then you really must do better.
It's the very basic stuff that seems to pass you buy. You need to stop adding new command this, intel that, which forces us to buy new ships and have a functioning game !
just like the polls when they ask us what we want.
Or the bug reports that tell the antialiasing is still causing blocks on the screen.
Or that buttons and icons are still blinking or grayed out.
I did the puzzle, didn't respawn all crazy, but still couldn't get through the mission as intended. The episode really served no purpose except to forcefully advance the Iconcian plot (which would have been better to do with DR rather than focusing on two species no one cared about), both writing and delivery of a lot of Sela's dialog was just terrible too, but that's not a bug.
Does anyone know if the Romulan Navel set will have visuals or not?
Although I have to say I am happy with some changes they have made recently, particularly the advanced queue changes they are currently testing, these sort of bugs are infuriating. Geko said on a recent podcast (I want to say on G & T show, but don't quote me) that they've never missed a release date. He was very proud. It made me livid for this very reason. Releases are prompt, yes, but because they are often so rushed, they are broken and buggy. Probably shouldn't be so proud of that. Take a couple of days longer and release something without mission breaking bugs...

i have to admit i was looking forward to this mission and Delta recruit but not any more as the mission is so full of bugs if you dont get stuck in the hobus lab area it is on an empty balcony on this other dyson sphere and that has cost me a couple of hours and still unalble to complete it GET IT SORTED PLEASE:mad::mad:
If only we had a test server to test things, this kind of mission-breaking bug wouldn't happen ! I know, let's make a test live server, and we should call it... Tribbles ! What do you think ?
Sorry BG, it's more like venting. But quite frankly, every single time they release a new episode, they are bugfest. And in this case it's even worse, because unless you know the workaround for the locked door, the mission is broken. And if you don't do it until before next Thursday, then no weekly reward for you. Which mean, unless they make an emergency hotfix, or extend the weekly reward time, a lots of people are not going to get it.
And this could have been easily avoided by having a few people running the mission. I've seen topic about this bug pretty much everywhere in the chat ingame, on reddit, here... It's not like it's uncommon.
BTW, if someone ask, the workaround is to beam to the ship, go back to Nopada, and "continue" the mission. You'll skip a small chunk of it, but you'll be able to complete it.

Well, the way I read it, a reward unlocks every week but then remains available, much like the last episode, Dust to Dust. You can still get the Kobali space set, except for the core, only available on the ship.

I don't know. From the sounds of it things really are improving. At no point did you report that all your bridge officers were missing.
I have been kicked as soon as a PVE starts as 2 to 6 minuets in crashes and leaves me getting ripped off of this last thing with Christalin its outrageous that they cannot get a handle on bugs or server issues! People are spending big money and getting screwed! I friggin love the game but now know why its not being sold like Xbox games its all iffy at best and no one seams to care to fix it! The servers cannot handle the fans and its got out of hand too bad because I love it but cannot keep spending money on a game that cannot deliver!

That's Not Funny!
I lol'ed. You win the interwebs today.
I'm cool with venting -- if you're not breaking rules and that's all you want to do. It's understandable.
But if you want to report bugs this is the wrong forum. You want to go here: http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/forumdisplay.php?f=69
And read this before you post: http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/announcement.php?f=69&a=171

Probably when hell freezes over and the entire world starts suddenly sharing his exact tastes. :P
