    Is this pretty typical behavior for this game? Only on patch days, or most of the time?

    I've been playing for maybe 3 weeks and the connections issues are just terrible. Enough DC's to make me take notice.

    But from what I've read so far, it's definitely my fault.

    So I came on.
    Within 30 minutes I had 3 client crashes and now the server is down.
    Just hilarios...
    Support more story content in STO

    Lookie here, cryptic... why don't you pay for cloud servers from amazon or something so that you can have dependable hardware and make a cluster farm so that people can connect all over the world and when you do have problems with one server, you can just redirect to the servers still up. Do what EA does, or are you still too small time to do it... no no, I got it... why worry about our experience on the game when you can develop the next money grabbing lockbox. Yeah.. I understand.

    Yes, I think someone forgot....they should not stop completely feeding the tribbles powering the server, but instead only feed them enough to keep going. Starved tribbles are just as bad, if not worse, than pregnant tribbles! Starving tribbles have brought down the server in protest.

    been tryin gto get back on but keep getting a lot of time outs

    thanks a lot devs was really looking forward to this new episode after being at work all day:(

    Neverwinter & Champions are also down, so it's a Cryptic wide problem.

    Well **** you wishy washy level 60 people trying to decide where you want to have nookie with Sela. Some of us level 58s need to remove some chems from killing off a bunch of freaky deaky pod people who actually found a use for dead Harry Kims outside of sticking them on the bottom of Voyager to cushion a landing.

    No other game in the ARC connects at all, Neverwinter and Champions Online also not connecting, it's not just STO.

    I'm sorry. This is all my fault. Must be.

    I made Fleet Admiral ( moments ago ) on my first Character and I guess the server could not handle the news. :o

    :: WHAT?!? This guy can't be FA. He's awful at STO ::

    Yup got booted again, right in the middle of my first play through, got a Sever not responding countdown, then got dc'd, couldn't reconnect then got a message on the launcher.

    "Unable to authenticate: Connection to the account server timed out"

    This is the second time, in the last 5 hours, ever since the patch went live.

    They already stopped paying Smirk. :P LaughingTrendy can stay, though, far as I'm concerned (like I have any say in it, lol).

    Patch Notes : Resolved an Issue, where people would accidently experience Fun.

    so sorry cryptic.. this must be my internet connection and my problem to deal with... with all the technological redundancy that exists today.. and you still have downtime? God.. I would be fired from my job if I had as much downtime as you guys! must be some easy paychecks being made there! I should apply!

    Remember those times when STO was working without any bugs/lags or other TRIBBLE that Cryptic pull over us? Well, neither do I.
