"You may not log in from this IP address" *Resolved*

I was just in game working on a foundry mission(it's gonna be awesome!) and was suddenly disconnected. When I tried to log back in a message said "You may not log in from this IP address". Um...what? Has anyone ever had this problem?

    Yeah i just went to log in and got that on my launcher

    You may not log in from this IP address

    I am getting this error also. Logged in just an hour ago with no problems.

    Just happened to me recently. I was playing earlier this evening and logged off. When I came to log back in, the same happened to me. Ticket Sent

    I just tried to log on myself and I'm getting the same deal. Not sure what is going on.
    Word got out that STO is having issues again.

    At least it's not just me. Had some nightmare that some neighbor was doing Horrible Things and had gotten the whole swath of IP banned somehow...

    This is about the only time I've had to go get my crystal shard of the day and I am going to be crabby if I miss completing the event on one of my characters because of this. :(

    Edit: Europe, freelancer2012? Europe and New England both, then.

    Same. I just updated my OS so I thought it was something on my end. I can't seem to find any options on account guard or defender to add my PC, it says I have no PCs saved, and I can't see where to turn it off. I have a Cryptic account, and cryptic redirects to PW which redirects to arc, and I can see no options to do anything about it on any of them.

    Both games that I use the cryptic launcher for (STO and Neverwinter) tell me that I cannot log in from my IP address so this is not just an STO thing. I am on the East Coast of the USA (so they didn't just ban Europe) and I have not had any software updates but my virus scan since I played last night (though my toddler did bang on the keyboard earlier tonight) so it is not some software patch that has done this.

    I suspect someone updated the server's IP blacklist at 7pm server time and misconfigured something, judging from all the posts happening right after 7pm.

    Well I just submitted a ticket, so on the bright side I expect a prompt reply as they quickly get to the bottom of this.

    I am getting the same thing, "You may not log in from the IP address" I was just on STO about an hour and half ago. And I tried logging in on my 2nd computer as well and got the same thing. I am a little relieved that its not just me as I was worried that perhaps something happened to my computers or thought maybe someone TRIBBLE my account or something. I changed the password just to be sure. Guess I'll just have to wait and see if its fixed soon. =(

    Yes, some people say 7:00, others 9:00, my clock reads 10:00pm and the forums say 6:00; we're all in different time zones.

    6:17pm server time, though. Remember that STO is on California time. (It's 10:20pm where I am.) So it's still only been screwed up for less than a half hour.

    I wonder if it's screwed up for EVERYONE, or just Europe and the US's East Coast...
