transwarp crashes

So I hit transwarp and I crashed to desktop...


hard.

was flying the excel

    I had the same problem, I transwarped to a mission to test it and see what the new popup looked like, then i wanted to go back to the Sol system, so I clicked on the trasnwarp button and insted of clicking on sol i got kicked to the desktop

    Its a upgraded T5 Excel with all masterys unlocked
    My ship doesnt have the [Console - Universal - Transwarp Computer] (<<< Link) attached, so it wasnt that casuing the crash

    I too had this issue. Tried clicking on the transwarp icon in my excelsior and it crashes the game. My Tuffli is not affected

    "On occasion, the engine will fail to make the jump. This was by design to mimic the events from Star Trek III: The Search for Spock when the transwarp drive on the USS Excelsior was disabled." Ergo, CTD, working as intended, JUST KIDDING... ;)

    Attempted to Transwarp with T5 Excelsior not upgraded, was in the middle of Beta Q.

    Pressed the "T" button crash to desktop.

    yeah maybe they should remove excel's ability to transwarp to all sectors, that's likely what's causing the crash.

    they can just seriously decrease her transwarp cd time?

    This happened to my toon comicbookhero@captainkron also with the Excelsior. Oh and Wells Time ship sector space camera was super close. ::rolleyes: lol But really like the new quadrants.

    just tested it...


    still crashes when I press Transwarp.

    pressed t. crashed to desktop.

    and funny thing is, the devs still haven't said a thing or even listed it as known

    Maybe we should add "Don't Transwarp" to the known issues list. It's a VERY WIP portion of the Sector Space revamp.

    yeah, it doesn't matter where, I tried it both from sector and from in system to test... both failed. I suspect it's because the excel has all the sector transwarps... which would cause a critical error.

    That crash is just with the Excelsior afaik. And it's a known issue, it just didn't make the list.

    Thanks, so I should switch to another ship for now?


    I'll test the excel later when I see a patch note for the excel being repaired. I do hope I can fly it in season 10. I absolutely love it.
