Several items mention that they convey "Immunity to Teleportation."
What does this mean?
Does it mean that when I'm engaged in a PvE space battle, that enemy ships are beaming troops onto my vessel?
And if so, how do I know that this is going on? Is it recorded in the combat log? If so, I don't recall seeing it (but I have NOT been looking for it overly).
I've noticed that my crew complement dies horrendously, but from other posts this seems to be taken as a "normal" event, as there are broken game mechanics around "alive crew."
Is it possible though that telporting Borg boarding parties are ripping through my ship?
I've had a bit of a look around, and can't find out much about space battle "teleportation."
There are a few special abilities that teleport your entire ship into the caster's own targeting arc so as to more easily blast you. Bortasqu has it for one of its special consoles (Subspace Snare), Tholian Tarantulas can do so, maybe some others but I don't recall. Its not very common.
There's a Klingon console that teleports your ship directly into the KDF ships front firing arc. I believe that this is what the immunity is referring to.
It is protection against a "ship transport." So I don't have to worry about troops beaming over. (Would be a nice mechanic to add. I can picture my little people engaged in battles to retake the ship while the bigger space battle rages.)
I can't say that I recall my ship suddenly moving to somewhere different, so I don't really need this teleport immunity protection. Was chiefly curious about it. Now that I know that it is a real thing that could happen though, I'll keep an eye out for it!
And if it does, I'll see if there is an entry in the combat log, if I remember.
There's only 3 total enemies that I can think of that have this ability.
(KDF)Bortasqu' Dreadnought (Also available to players as a Console)
(Tholian)Tarantula Dreadnought
(Voth)Citadel Dreadnought
For the Bortasqu' and Tarantula, you get graphical effects around your ship before the teleport. For the Citadel, they'll often transport you directly into the center of a Gravity Well they just spawned.
This actually does happen, but not with transporters. There's an Engineering skill called "Boarding Party" which generates shuttles which approach you like slow projectile weapons. If they reach you without being destroyed, you do get some combat penalties.
There's no actual 'battle' mechanic though... the penalties are simply timed.
The Borg do it via transporters (their Assimilate Ship thing). In the case of both the Borg version and the normal Boarding Party version though, its just cleared via Tac Team, hence why most people running TT chains never even notice.

There's also abilities which teleport YOUR ship when used, such as some of the romulan warbird singularity abilities.
I hope immunity to transport doesn't interfere with using them
"He shall be my finest warrior, this generic man who was forced upon me.
Like a badass I shall make him look, and in the furnace of war I shall forge him.
he shall be of iron will and steely sinew.
In great armour I shall clad him and with the mightiest weapons he shall be armed.
He will be untouched by plague or disease; no sickness shall blight him.
He shall have such tactics, strategies and machines that no foe will best him in battle.
He is my answer to cryptic logic, he is the Defender of my Romulan Crew.
He is Tovan Khev... and he shall know no fear."

You sure about #3?
As a Sci pilot who uses GW III at least 3 times an engagement, the GW mechanic has the well spawn right on top of the target at instant of casting. Spawned with high enough Graviton Generators skill, the well itself can pull anything into that center, even EPtEd targets, nevermind a ship just built with high speeds.
I know. I used to run a high (150+) graviton generator skill build on one of my Scis. Those pesky escorts/frigates in missions and/or Borg spheres in ISE that had the hyper EPtE? Always sucked into the center of my wells. Went back to my "84 + what's on my deflectors" Graviton build to load up on part gens for that Sci 15 trait? I'm back to watching escorts/frigates pull a bit away from the well center but still "trapped" in the effect...
Detecting big-time "anti-old-school" bias here. NX? Lobi. TOS/TMP Connie? Super-promotion-box. (aka the two hardest ways to get ships) Excelsior & all 3 TNG "big hero" ships? C-Store. Please Equalize...

The Voth Citadel ship most certainly has teleport. If you have not been hit with it some one else must have been pulling agro when it used it, or you may have been running attack pattern Omega.
Currently the immunity to teleport offered by Attack Pattern Omega works against the Citadel ships teleport ability, but the immunity to teleport offered by polarize hull is broken and dose not.
Oh look, it's someone questioning another persons cognitive abilities on the difference between being pulled into the center of a gravitational anomaly and instantly teleported.
The posturing about you own supposed abilities leads nothing to your credence. You might as well have typed out "Naw bruh, dats totes wrong bruh, because I'm so hench!"
Like when the Tholian Dreadnaughts teleport your ship away from them when you start to cause too much damage for their liking or when they know the battle is going against them and their hulls melt under your weapons fire!

Yes, I am sure.
