I don't think that guy has seen Deep Space Nine either...grittiest of the Treks, easily.

I think it'd work better the other way around, TNG being better known... but it's still amusing ;)

Sorry, but I had to weigh in on this.

TNG is not the original Star Trek, in case there was some confusion. Which makes that comic...kind of atrocious.

True, it's not, but I noticed that what some people consider "their" Star Trek usually depends on their generation. Some were in the "right age" (whatever it may mean) in the '60s, some in the '80-'90s, so their first encounter is with the different series.

I am left wondering what kind of Crapsack World "VGCats" is set in, if they have not only given up on the future but regard DS9 as a "lighthearted romp"...

The creator is a gamer fanboy from Canada. His portrayal of, "Pants-Man," is how I picture the real him. lolz

Edit> Next Gen. was my first Star Trek as well, when I was still a little girl, I would watch it on UPN with my brothers.

It is amazing how often I have used this link in the forums. Although, the next page seems to fit STO far better than this one and it was 2 years before they were introduced in STO.

    I miss ANY (new) Trek.

Been watching "NCIS: New Orleans" lately, just to see what Archer has been up to lately.

I figured Daniels probably transported the Captain back to the past, when his command of the NX-01 ended.
Archer still doesn't know that he's Dr. Sam Beckett.

I'm waiting for Al (Daniels in disguise) to pop up to see how Archer is doing.

DS9 was my favourite series, but my first exposure to Star Trek was Voyager.

I'd like a new Trek series. Just to have an alternative way to get my daily fix, lol. Failing this, I am hoping someone gets around to putting ST:Armada 2 on an old games website. So I can finally finish working on those two mods I was so fascinated with.

For me it was the Animated series.

Honestly.... TNG always felt weird... as if the writers weren't sure what to do. It had a lot of eps that were kinda... bad.

But it had a lot of good stuff too, and some stuff that was just off-the-wall weird. Also, it defined the way Star Trek looked until Ent came around.
