QoL: Let us earmark DOFFs for Crafting

It's an easy mistake to make - you have some white DOFFs, and put them in a DOFF grinder or a fleet project. Only to realize it was an R&D Doff. Oops.
Or you start a few assignment,s and then realize that you put your R&D DOFFs on the assignments, so you can't do Crafting assignments.
Make it easier for us to avoid this!
Options:
1) Mark R&D DOFFs visually so you can always see whether they have R&D uses or not, without needing to open the detailed info on the DOFF.
2) Let us put R&D DOFFs into special R&D slots (similar to Space/Ground DOFFs perhaps), and as long as they are there, they cannot be slotted into assignments or put into Fleet projects without a confirmation dialog.
Theoretically, this could be too constrained - I could imagine other scenarios where you might want to mark a DOFF as "important" to you - maybe if you got only one Chef, you might want to ensure you don't accidentally remove him until the point you have a replacement. But that might be really corner cases of corner cases. The R&D issue pops up all the time.

Sadly, I still manage to eventually donate them, because I am dumb. So I agree that something like (2) would be a great idea!
Promote them to Uncommon, They are doing Special Projects, they deserve a promotion..
I know that making them Common, should make them easier to get, but I think they deserve to be Uncommon and/or adding them to the Commendation Rewards, would be what I would expect...
