Usually, many great actors avoid starring in a series, in fear that they will be identified throughout their career as that specific character.
It takes a lot of courage and dedication to go, where no other actors would usually go. So, we have our big movie stars that we all love and appreciate but we have only one Spock.
If you want to summarize a whole culture, millions and millions of fans imitating, wanting to achieve the goals, dreaming the dreams and assimilating the moral principles that were portrayed by mr. Nimoy, if you talk about the Vulcans, you only need one word: SPOCK.
He is the one that stood on top of the creation of the Vulcan race, a race that takes our fears about first contacts, repressed feelings, unusual situations and wraps them in calm, logic and reason, like the chaos being ordered so we can understand, a true and unabridged expression of the Universe.
Thank you for all that, Live Long And Prosper, Mr. Leonard Nimoy, wherever you are now!

By Order of Fleet Admiral Jorel Quinn, this stardate, Admiral Freeman will captain the Constitution class U.S.S. Solaris from its mooring at the Starfleet Starship Museum. His mission is to make honorary appearance at Vulcan, on behalf of Starfleet Command and the people of Earth, to commemorate and pay tribute to the legacy of Ambassador Spock and the life of Leonard Nimoy.

I thought I'd chronicle my attempts to find the various memorials in a video.

The one on ESD was rather difficult to find and I completely forgot to include the memorial in New Romulus Command Centre.

It would be great to be able to get some screenshots of my characters with the memorial (without having to log on to Tribble). The problem is the trolls that stand in front of the statue (some are using macros that use the prosper emote) and don't move or just keep cycling through their powers.

We all know that they are doing this specifically to make the game unpleasant for others.
Not that anything will ever be done about this problem but at least I feel better.

Nice photo. I may be a few days late posting, But it'd be a shame to see this thread die.

When Star Trek Into Darkness premiered in Hollywood, I was able to take this snapshot of Leonard Nimoy kissing his wife Susan Bay from across the red carpet... and the fraktard who photobombed the whole picture.

I still was excited I caught this moment tho.

I'm calculating the timeline deletion to use the Krenim timeship's weapon on that individual now....

I hope that we will be able to have the chance for other original Star Trek actors do voice-overs for STO. Time waits for no one.

    I like this one.

True. It could actually be from the (remastered?) show.

Though my first association was actually Star Trek - 25th Anniversary.

Hey, will there be a Star Trek - 25 Anniversary adventure game? [/pipe dream]

I have to agree...the way they set up the screenshot--angles, lighting, everything--REALLY has that old TOS look to it. This is very well done.
