This is where Cryptic keeps dropping the ball...T6 Strike ship.

Now, I am not saying that they haven't been smart lately when it comes to running these "event" back to back, as I expect the Mirror Event to be next, but the most recent blog about the new T6 Strike Ship was a poor choice by Cryptic. Here are a couple of reason Why:

1.) This new Strke ship is more of a replacement for the JHAS instead of a new Intel Cruiser or Command Cruiser. This really is a slap in the face to players that spent so much money trying to acquire the T5-U JHAS but it has been around for a while so this doesn't hurt too much.

2.) Cryptic went with the clearly Uglier design, instead of going with the T6 Strike Cruiser shown here that can in no way be confused with the other Jem Hadar ship lines -- Also the one shown is canon! T6 Strike Cruiser - http://memory-beta.wikia.com/wiki/Jem%27Hadar_strike_cruiser

3.) Lastly, Cryptic had a real chance to excite a userbase that has gotten a little board with the new ship lines, and instead of doing the usual release one Ultra Rare ship that is ridiculously hard to get they could have released 2. These would still have the .5% chance but now players would get the ship they were asking for...the Jem Hadar Battlecruiser! This is what many wanted, and Cryptic had it all set up perfectly but someone dropped the ball. Let me explain why this would have been a perfect play. With the new Intel and Command cruiser setups, the Jem Hadar Strike Cruiser/Ship and the Jem Hadar Battlecruiser would be an Intel ship and a Command ship respectively, thus finishing out the Dominion line of ships with current classes. This would have brought some excitement to the game, but the Accountant and the Marketing leaders at Cryptic have been failing for years, so this was too hopeful.

Note that Cryptic does not have the right to ships from other games. The pages you link list the ships as having come from the game Dominion Wars - aka not canon (not in the actual series), and Cryptic will not have rights to them.

The Jem Hadar Battle Cruiser is already in the game as an NPC ship.

That's why people are mystified that they haven't made it into a playable ship yet.

Why would I want a Jem Cruiser to replace my Jem Attack escort?

Another escort ship made sense, but yes... it's not quite as iconic or even aesthetically pleasing as the original... mainly the hull/front section is changed, and perhaps the nacelles.

I want the abilities, but the looks are rather meh from that screenshot they used

    1. people loved the jhas back in the day because it was the first and only ship that was so powerful until it was nerfed to standards then sank wthout a trace, and now they are attempting to scam the same deal with t6, the problem is that it will last a few weeks if they are lucky but they release something else that is just as equally powerful without the extra fuss. so i wont bite their bate, it smells like poison and probably is, but to others its sweet and tastes nice.

    2. cryptic chose to just rearrange the bug ship to make it look mean, but i dont see the point in it just for a boff seating adjustment of the original concept rereleased with slightly different stats. as for the mem beta thing, nothing on mem beta can be used to fuel an arguement because mem beta has nothing canon to work with.

    3. who cares, cryptic you can not predict with logic sometimes, some times they make choice that no one but they can understand, this is just one of those times. again nothing from mem beta can be used as a counter.
    T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW.

In fairness, if someone goes broke trying to acquire a virtual item, they kinda deserve a slap in the face...

Man, the phrase "slap in the face" gets tossed around a lot.

You ever been slapped in the face? I mean really slapped?

    Like that?

Yeah, I don't think your precious ship getting outdated by a new model is anything close to that.

"Entitled" gets tossed around a heck of a lot more. It works for any occasion.
