So, I guess my Romulan Character is not allowed on Vulcan to pay respects?

If you're a KDF Romulan, probably not.

My Romulan is Federation allied, so I had no trouble getting in there last night. Only had trouble once in having to instance hop to try (and fail) to get away from the trolls.

My Fed aligned Reman was there last night. If you're KDF, though, no go.

Hopefully when the memorial is placed on Vulcan to Leonard Nimoy Cryptic will give KDF toons and KDF aligned Romulans the ability to warp into Vulcan orbit for a period of time. That way those players can visit the memorial to pay their respect to Mr. Nimoy. Similar to how the KDF can visit Risa for the summer event.

Does everyone not have at least one Federation toon ?

I guess the days of requiring you to roll a fed are gone... still though, serious question is anyone really locked into only having KDF toons ?

Really though with supposed wars being over at this point why are any toons locked out of visiting any where at all including the home worlds.

And add yet another reason why the alliance system was a terrible idea.

Apparently if you carry disco balls your not welcome either, so it is only for a select few to grieve.

The war is only over for toons who have completed "Surface Tension". None of my toons have played that mission yet so for me the war is still "raging".

I suppose Cryptic could implement a system where if you did complete "Surface Tension" then the war is over for that specific toon and that toon will be able to visit Vulcan. But at the same time I would expect Military and Marauding missions that deals with raiding Federation transports, colonies and facilities as well as selling prisoners to the Orions and shipping prisoners off to forced labor camps must be disabled.

After all, with the end of the war those types of missions would need to be outlawed.

Yes. Queues are far more dead than 'dead' Fed queues, especially when levelling, but apart from that it's a great alternative.

It's personal preference, but I find the levelling content better, the ships to be more interesting and bearing in mind how the game plays being a KDF just makes more sense.

You expect me to show up and shoot you in the face.

EDIT: I did attempt to level a new Fed toon before another break beckoned, and I used him to visit Vulcan. My instance was peaceful so I hung around until I got fed up with all the arguing.

As far as I know Leonard Nimmoy has never lived on Vulcan.

All joking aside, you could pay your respects by donating to one of his charities and maybe saying a quick prayer for him and his family.

Best option would be to put it outside of the New Romulus Embassy. That way everybody can visit.

Not wanting to get in the whole memorial thing again, but talking game mechanics there is no Romulan faction. You are Starfleet or KDF, there is no third choice.

Why isn't there a vigil for Spock on Earth?

Seriously, he's half human so why?

He self-identified as primarily Vulcan culturally.

A fair few of my KDF fleet members play only on that side, and all RP aside were gutted that they could not go to Vulcan, a transwarp option for those who play only that side would be nice.

If they are level 50 or higher. Lower than that? Forget it, you can't visit.

Which brings me to another question. Once the walls of the sectors are gone, how will Cryptic prevent a KDF of drifting in Fed space or a Fed into KDF space

Dude. KDF can already do that at max diplomacy rank. Also, are you roleplaying as a racist who supports segregation or something? Nice try, Jim Crow.

I had a vigil at Starfleet Academy for him, I looked out upon the ocean, it was quite nice.

Excellent point. Which compliments my own suggestion perfectly.

Wow, that was a strech, and a poor one at that. Right now Feds arent naturally ( without that max diplomacy, which not everyone has)
allowed into Omega Leonis and KDF cant go to Sol system. That is what he is talking about.
