Subspace fold giving much more than 2LY

Not sure if it's maybe been updated intentionally to make it more useful on the now amazingly huge maps, but the tooltip still says 2LY so I thought I'd mention it.

I've been jumping around (without engaging engines) between systems and I'm getting an average of about 5-6LY from it.

*Not complaining if this has been boosted btw. :D
Join date is wrong, I've actually been around since STO Beta.
True alters don't have a "main". Account wide unlocks for all unique event rewards!!

    The distances were re-scaled as well, so the old 2ly is closer to the new 5-6 as you described. Likely just the tooltip needs updated to reflect the new scale.

    Also, I'm enjoying the new scale, makes the galaxy feel more like the real universe. (2ly from Sol to Vulcan? That's not even 1/2 way to Proxima Centauri.)

    Ah yeah that'd make sense, I hadn't thought about that right enough.

    I do like the new scale yeah, plus the smaller ships are nice too. Flying around really does feel much more immersive like you're actually in space.
