Play "Dust to Dust" teamed up!!!

I just completed Dust to Dust together with a fleet mate. Honestly this mission is great fun together! Battling through the trenches, ziplining together, trying to beat the other in the maze or on the electric pods. Really fun! :) Intended or not this mission is just made for teams.

And, of course, the platforms. One person triggering the platforms so the other can run across and return the favor?

Huh...good to know. Always assumed it was like all the other grind missions; that it was for solo play only. Most in the past have said that, too: Solo only.

I may try this with a teammate!

If one person does the maze in 2 minutes does it finish prematurely for the second? How does that console work? If one person choses "hard" platforms and doesn't die, does the second get the accolade? If the first person dies and the second doesn't, do they both get the accolade?

I'm just curious how several of these elements play out in a team. It definitely seems designed around a solo run from the get-go.

Usually achieving an accolade counts for the entire team. That's how an engineer can get science and tactical officer accolades.

So it'dsay, yes, it works the same here ,which would make it the prefered tactic for teh platform puzzle with one person shooting and one running.

What about the difficulty split? You can't obviously have one person choose to take on the ramp bosses solo (hard) while the other chooses to have backup (easy). Either there will be backup or there won't. I presume the same for the platforms. One cannot do easy while another does hard?

The difficulty goes off popular vote. Fred and Jan vote for easy while Dave votes for very hard - the map will go with easy.

But yeah, this map is pretty fun teamed up, I agree.
