Is there any way you guys can look into...
UI lag which is very much there and worse than before in foundry maps
And
Certain PvE ques have bad rubber banding ((CCA, SB24 & GORN are ones that I noticed in most))
Thank you Smirk, it seems every two or three hours the server kicks everyone off and takes a couple minutes or so to allow people back on again. Its been like this for roughly a week now.
And UI lag? That's what it's called? When I go into space battle my weapons don't 'light up' to become usable to fire at the enemy for a distinct few seconds. The npc has taken four or five free shots at me before my weapons become available to fire. Its not crippling but it sure puts me at a disadvantage at the start of a fight.

I and a lot of other players are experiencing heavy lags for weeks now. As an example i had bad lags while trying to lvl my new fed command ship in argala yesterday.
How about fixing those? Its not a connection issue - ping is fine - its just the servers cant handle the load they are getting..
I have no trouble logging in but I am having the issue where at random I see the small red print in the center top of the screen that says something about server not responding.
Also random disconnects.

Thanks for the acknowledgement of the problem! It means a lot (sincerely)!
I also want to reiterate that the problem is also the lag. And, for me and for the others I've talked to, it's not so much rubber-banding but frame-skipping and taking an enormous amount of time to load new maps. for example, if I try the omega trace minigame, I'll do fine for a few seconds, then the screen freezes, and then the particles all jump to the right a few inches. That sort of thing, all over.
I just ran a patrol mission in the Wyanti System in the Delta Quadrant. The tray lag was so bad that the Vagwaur sometimes had a 30 second plus advantage on me.
This is horrible & must be fixed ASAP!

Is this the same issue as getting the gameclient.exe crash periodically when I'm in a STF? Because it's been happening to me since the anniversary started.
Thanks for the acknowledgement and update. I have noticed a decrease in the rubberbanding and disconnects lately, so official comment that the issue is being worked on is appreciated.
For me, the issue seems to only occur mostly in high interaction activities, such as serious combat where I'm fighting enemies and selecting teammates to throw heals to at the same time. Activities where I have a more limited rate of mouse/keyboard interactions tend to be more stable, though the usual suspects (high population zones, etc.) also trigger it. Hope that helps a tad, since the crash report popup also crashes when the game client locks up and dies...
[EDIT] My current theory, based on when I keep getting a dead client and flyingtarg's post about UI lag, is that sending too many UI update requests too quickly goes beyond what the system can handle now. It's a guess, but it's the best one I've got at the moment. Hope that's helpful.
With each passing day I wonder if I stepped into an alternate reality. The Cubs win the world series. Donald Trump is President. Britain leaves the EU. STO gets a dedicated PvP season. Engineers are "out of control" in STO.
The UI tray lag is still there at times. I was on this morning and I had to click the icon like 3-4 times before it finally hit. Thanks to the lag, I lost several battles. The worse was during a Foundry mission.

Thank You, Smirk. The disconnects seemed to get really bad with last patch. not sure if touched on already, but the skills in space have a lag between clicking (they trigger about a 1/5 of a second after) and the skill greyying out (which happens as much as a second after clicking/activation)?
I frequently get "server not responding" when on ESD and occassionally random disconnects but it's been really bad this weekend. 3 times in the last 20 minutes.
I have no trouble logging in but I am having the issue where at random I see the small red print in the center top of the screen that says something about server not responding.

Not as bad as other weeks in recent past, like the first week of the Anni, but still happening quite frequently. Back then I could get disconnected just for standing around the Academy grounds, not I only get disconnected move from one map tho the next.
I will definitely relay the UI lag and Foundry lag info. Thanks for the reports on that.
The servers have been stabilized and you should be able to login without this issue.
Please alert us if you are still experiencing this same login issue after this message is posted.
Thanks for your patience everyone, see you in-game!

they have ? , why are a lot of people still having problems including myself .
18 times today disconnected and I gave up dilithium mining cause of it , and it is still a pain to login even
(checked the isp to see if that was it and it says good service with no problems)
Guys you really need to invest in some server upgrades, like... badly.
Every single time an event comes around... winter, summer.. whatever. Your servers simply can not handle the load they are put under, even when it's "light" on the quieter days the server will often struggle and lag people out and kick us.
These big events like the anniversary event are an opportunity for you to bring people back to the game. People take breaks from MMOs, I came back after getting bored mid way through the winter event to see if anything new was here. Yet all I'm greeted with is constant rubberbanding/lag (which is NOT my end), disconnects, Login_2 time outs which really puts me off playing.
Combine these problems with your love to make us grind for every scrap of content in this game you aren't doing a good job of selling your product to people, a terrible one actually. My time these days is extremely limited, I work 14/15 hour days door to door on a busy hospital ward so when I come home I want to chill out not be driven crazy by poor servers stopping me from playing.

I started getting kicked from the game this morning and now I can't even log in. I get to the character selection, but then it doesn't even get to the map screen, just the background of the character selection, then I get Login_2 timeout.
Now a LTS and loving it.
Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything.
Im getting kicked constantly no matter what time of day.. Sometimes Im on ESD, other times im in the middle of Crystal or a Borg STF or any other queued event... and getting a disconnect in those not only hurts me, but the team as well.
I live in California, my internet from time warner just got upgraded to be three times the speed it was before. So I dunno what gives. It totally has to be server side.
When the disconnects first started happening a few weeks back I thought maybe it was because the omega particle event brought in a lot more traffic than normal, and I was just being disconnected due to server demand.. But now I dont believe thats the case at all with everyone else's post that I just spent a few minutes reading..
I don't blame cryptic, But I think PWE needs to realise its better business-wise to keep your customers happy so they keep coming back, and not annoyed. Especially us lifetime subs who want to support the game.
I'm having log in issues. I was playing the game and I was transferring to a different map when updates were not loading. Kept saying 0 kbs. Had to exit the program and now I can't log in. Keep getting a "not responding" message. Anyone else having this issue? Hope I'm putting this in the right spot.

This lag has been going on for weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeks.
over at the German forums they have found the problem ,something to do with routing through isps > cryptic servers and "nodes".

I'd go so far as to say all queues to some degree, although it is definitely more noticeable with more players and entities.
Had the opportunity to do a Starbase Fleet Defense for the first time in months. We LOL'd. It was... bad.
