Allow Purple, Blue and Green DOFF Contributions

It would be really great we could contribute green, blue, and purple Duty Officers to count towards Fleet Projects. (I doubt this is the first time this has been proposed).
It's not as if we don't have enough energy credits, zen, or dil to get the millions of doffs required for projects. Rather, its that we don't have the TIME to sit there buying one white at a time from the exchange (which is slow now), or to sit at the Academy Exchanging Officers for HOURS to fill up a 150 Doff requirement.
So, why not allow Green, Blue and Purple contributions? Obviously, you'd have to give extra credit for each rarer DOFF. I'd suggest the following ratio:
Green = 3 whites
Blue = 9
Purple = 27
But I'd settle for less too.
This seems to me like it would be a pretty easy patch. Although given that it would only benefit the players and not really Cryptic, I don't see their incentive to task a developer to implement it. But we can always dream.

Yeah, the problem is that it takes many hours to accomplish this task. I'm assuming you merely KNOW about this ability, but have not actually USED it on the large scale necessary to fill fleet projects day after day after day. The whole reason I'm proposing this change is because I spend too much time doing the Exchanges. I have enough extra purples, blues, and greens to fill 5000 DOFF slots. What I (and may others) don't have is the 500 hours it would take to break them down one at a time.
BTW, the current Exchange Officer assignments would still be useful, as I would still use them to try to get valuable blues from purples, etc.
Wahhh Cryptic has stolen my Doffs, Waahhh why is there no security mechanism preventing this and that Doff, Waaahhh I bought a Doff for 40 Mill EC and I donated him and I want him back...
I donated my Whites to the Fleet, the Greens and Blue ones did I sell at the Exchange. I sold about 250 of them by selling them for a cheap price and received money and free Doff space.
Better idea in my book is to replace the archaic personnel and material donations with participation based inputs. Example for here would be recruitment doff mission to build the Starbase population. No actual doffs transferred.,
We already can "accidentally" donate R&D DOFFs with the white ones. However if that happens it is down to the player who is responsible to doiuble check what they are donating and remove the check next to the ones they don't want to donate.
