I've learned the hard way to never buy anything in this game until there is a sale, I feel for you

It is annoying and I feel for you, though as a general rule of thumb companies don't announce they are going to have a sale because it would harm net profits if nobody bought anything since they'd announced a sale was coming.

" $50.00 = 5000 + 5000 + 750 + 300** = 6050 ZEN
"
I'm sorry but my math and yours seems to be off...
I come up with 11,050 Zen for $50... Any less and it's FRAUD!!!!
Should get that fixed.
edit: fixed
$100 bonus was listed with the initial post... but it seems they took that off the page now. Only bonus for $50 and $200 options now.
arc billing also only lists bonus at the $50 and $200 options.
This is strange, I bought the €99.99 bundle just after the sale started. After seeing these posts I went to check again and for some reason they now only have three bundles listed at all. €9.99 without bonus, €19.99 with bonus, and €44.99 with bonus... I wonder why they've reduced the number of available price options...
Edit, just noticed this bit of text on the page;
"Some purchase values have been removed as you are close to the purchase limit. If you would like to purchase more ZEN please contact Customer Support."
I wonder if the limit is a daily thing, or something they've brought in during the event.
The Zen you get from $100 is the same as $50 x2.
I generally spend $200-$400 each zen sale, to stock up zen for items later on. However, I really have not found anything worth spending zen on as of late.
The anniversary event has an alien ship as the grand prize, rather than playable in game faction ships. The current lockbox is again alien ships and costumes, not faction ships. The C-store ships are the same engineering ship, with slight differences.
I already have way too many ships to fly for each of my captains, and at the rate they come out, there really seems no point to get one, as a better version may be out in 2 months. Yet that said, there is still not any Romulan or Klingon tier 6 science ships.
All and all, i am finding the continual purchasing of new ships, in which each of my captains have a personal shipyard to change into like a new part of pants, boring. The whole ship system should be redone. You should have a basic ship design, where you can add components to, with unique designs costing more to research or buy. The entire ship should be customizable from hull design, warp speed, weapon layout, number of weapons, shuttle bay, bridge officer layout, etc, etc.
As it sits I am opting out of purchasing zen this time, as I find nothing of interest to purchase, as it currently stands, both specifically to this latest release, and in general of the continual release of ships that offer very little to no difference in game play, for $30.
I am new to the game just started playing today so far I enjoy it. My problem is I went to go buy some Zen for myself and noticed that under what servers etc that there is no STO server. I tried threw my Card and PayPal nothing. Do I have to get the Perfect World Cards if I do does the sale apply to them or is it just threw my Card or PayPal any help would be great. Thanks for a great game!
Select Star Trek Online ---> then select Holodeck as the server. If that option isn't there, it is a bug or something. There is only one server anyway.
Must be a bug it isn't showing up as a option.
There should be 2 drop down boxes...
one on the far left should have a list of games... STO should be on it.
If not then bug or error or somethings not right.
After you select STO...
the drop down box to it's right should have one for the holodeck.
After trying for ever to buy some Zen. I made another account and still nothing this is what comes up under Game Servers. APB Reloaded, Blacklight, Fortuna, Raiderz, Stronghold Kingdoms but still no Star Trek Online. So 2 days and 2 different accounts and nothing. Do I have to be a certain level to unlock or something? I am baffeled right now! :eek:
Not sure why that would happen, but if you haven't already done so, I would open a support ticket.

Thanks for everything you all I can finally buy my Zen I was starting to wonder I am so happy now!
It's probably a judgment on me for breaking my own rules - normally, I make a point of not buying Zen within 24 hours of being unexpectedly disconnected from the game. (So, no, I don't buy Zen very often, if you were wondering.)
Yes, this is precisely what I need to know as well. To clarify...if I purchase PWE Prepaid cards and submit them before this bonus event ends, will I get the additional 15% zen applied to my account?

My guess would be no, because the dev blog only lists the following;
I know it won't be the last ZEN sale... but, still.
