What level can we travel?
Is this just a Romulan restriction?
Ex-CoH players, Please add the chat channel "CoX STO"

    romulans cant leave Tau Dewa sector until they have made a choice on their alliance.

    and even then, you are slowly introduced to the other sectors.

    There's no point to flying outside your sector block before then anyway. You're horribly outgunned in any deep space encounter, there's no missions out there at that point, and the doff system is locked until you pick an ally (so that it can populate your mission list with the correct allegiance).

    I've picked KDF and I have the doff system.
    I wanted to go to Beta Ursae to doff via Orellius.
    My new KDF was able to travel there when they got the doff system.

    Just wondering how long my ROM has to wait until they can travel too.

    I have a level 12 Romulan (Federation Aligned) and I have been to the Sirius Sector, Regulus Sector ect, but sometimes it says I can't go there until I advance further, but I HAVE ALREADY BEEN THERE! It seems to mostly happen coming from the New Romulus. This is obviously a bug that needs to be fixed. I don't want to keep having to transwarp to the Sol System just to move around the sectors that I have already had access too. It's ridiculous.

    Romulans can't leave the Tau Dewa sector until they have done the mission "Memory Lane"

    I remember this being a bit odd when I leveled my Romulan. You just need to keep running story missions until it tells you to leave the sector block. Then you should be able to do it. Oddly though, I got other missions (like Starbase 24) that required I leave the sector block before I was actually able to do so. But it is the story missions that govern when you can leave. I didn't know about the transwarp to Sol thing, that might be an oversight on the devs' part.

    It seems if you transwarp to Sol, you can go anywhere until you reenter the Tau Dewa block. That's just silly.

    Did you reach TIER 3 in your marauding / diplomatic specialization?? if not, there you have yor answer.

    But as people say, if you are still leveling, and you are really low level you need to do some missions of the story arc to be able to access to other zones, and if you are romulan, you need of course, first to select and alllegiance, i think it is at level 11, and then to finish some romulan story arc missions before you can travel further away.

    I can confirm this, I just did it myself. So if anyone comes to this thread like I did looking for Information, I just completed "Memory Lane" and after I completed it, I leveled up to Lvl 13 and then I accepted the Next Mission, and a window popped up in-game stating that I was now able to move to different sector blocks and to press the M key to open up my Map.
