We are aware of the Omega Stabilization Daily problems with some of the Omegas not showing up on maps like Bajor (Space), and our team has been hard at work creating a solution for this problem. We want to give you two suggested workarounds.
While our team preps a permanent fix to go live this week with our regular scheduled maintenance, we have confirmed reports that a workaround does exist, that some players have been able to make use of, and some have not. We want to give a brief explanation to make sure everyone can utilize it before the fix goes live this week.
The first and simplest being, you can drop the mission and pick it up later in the day when it requires different locations to complete the mission. We understand though, your time to play is valuable and sometimes limited.
If you cannot log in at a different time to avoid the Bajor (Space) requirement, we want to give you a brief rundown of the Omega Molecule Stabilization (Daily) mission workaround that has been circulating through the community.
When you are directed to Stabilize Omega Particle on Bajor (Space) in the Bajoran Space System, as the mission currently sits, these Omegas do not appear in orbit above Bajor.
Players can pick up the mission Crack in the Mirror in the Cardassian Struggle storyline, and play through the first two map portions of the mission, which will take you through some light ground combat in the docking rings of DS9, and then to a short space combat scenario around DS9 itself. Upon completion of these two maps, you will warp to a third map around Bajor, and once you enter orbit, you should see the Omegas!
Now the best thing you can do is scan your Omegas and avoid combat at all costs. Once you have scanned your Omega, we recommend that you do not complete the mission, but rather, exit the map and leave the mission in its current state. That way, if you have to come back to that exact point in the mission, you can jump right back in to the same point in the mission.
We have confirmed reports from some players whove finished the mission, and thus caused the Omegas to not show up for them at all, afterwards.
This temp fix should help you all get your daily mission completed so you can grab your Qmendations, and start saving up for your Kobali ship!
Thank you for your patience as the team works to resolve this bug, and we will see you throughout the game!

Thanks for posting this Smirk. It let's the community know that it is being heard.
As to the workaround and just as a reminder that if you do have Bajor(Space) to spread the word of this fix further AND also to try and take players/characters who's rank/level does not allow them to do this mission.
If need be, I will sit at Bajor and direct and organize such actions so as to make sure the maximum number of people can complete this daily till the fix goes live.
Doesn't matter much to me. Something in the last patch broke my ability to beam down to social zone maps, so I'm not getting the quest even if it DOES get fixed.

You can get it by remote and hope you get all Space areas.
Any update on the issue where getting disconnected from the server causes you to drop the Omega mission *and* makes it disappear from Q as well so you can't pick it up again? Second day of missing out for me.
If possible, could you please ask if they are planning on extending this event another week to make up for those who haven't been able to do it at all for a week due to time constraints? And please let them know that this will go a long towards fixing their image with a lot of players if they do. (Not sure if they care about that or not).
Leader of Elite Guardian Academy.Would you like to learn how to run a fleet? Would you like to know how to do ship builds (true budget as well as high end)? The join the Academy today!
I really hope you guys plan on extending the event at this point. It's really not a good show that the first week is so riddled with issues.
So agreed. The ship shouldn't be a problem since we start with 400 qmendations but for crafting the updates, this first week has been unpredictable at best, usless at worse.
I've actually still had ESD (space) Omega particle collecitons not count.
Ok relogged tryed do lastnight omega daliy clicked on omge played game got red omega card no q saying whity common like stuck in limbo. dev look into this please.

I had that ESD Space too today. For some reason you can get it in the Academy from one of the collection points near upper part of the map, near Neal Meyer.
Did it with 4 chars just to make sure.

So let me understand this, you found a way to shut up Q and you are concerned about it?
I'm having an issue where I can't add the 40 Qmendations to my existing reputation, I'm stuck on 92% progress. Everytime I add Contribute, add in the 40 and submit, nothing happens. Would anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Could be lag, try logging right out of the game (like back to Windows) and re-launch. If that doesn't fix it then you could try filing a support ticket.
Join date is wrong, I've actually been around since STO Beta.
True alters don't have a "main". Account wide unlocks for all unique event rewards!!

Thanks. Restart had no effect, raised a ticket so will await response.
The fix is not 100%. Can't get completion registered for ESD (space) today.
At least one of the locations where they spawn in ESD (space) doesn't register towards the daily. Instance hop until you find a zone where the molecules are around the shipyards, those seem to register.

for an ESD (space) workaround, people need to beam down to Starfleet academy , and you need to enter the instance where the particles are showing up next to the flame statue (this is the one overlooking the water)
ive tried this on 3 different toons and its qworked for me everytime
good luck
I don't know if this was fixed in the update or not, but Q asked for "Stabilize Omega Particle Onboard Earth Spacedock (Ground)".
Um... Omega in space didn't meet this requirement.
err... Omega at Academy didn't do it, either...
AND I CAN'T FIND ANY INSIDE THE SPACEDOCK! What the heck does it mean by (Ground) in a blooming SPACEDOCK?!
Okay... now that's off my chest. Any help?

When it says ESD (ground) it means on-board ESD. If you have the daily active the map will show you a general area to look in. So far I've seen particles in club 47 on the dance floor, in Admiral Quinn's office, in the commodities vendor area, and at the exchange.

Agreed, they actually did say that they would if the issue lasted for 3 days. Last I checked is has now been 3 days

You're welcome. I had the same issue myself a few days ago.
