Kobali Engineering Corp Veteran Doffs

Here is a list of the Kobali R&D Doffs that I have run across (some of the 'e' and 'a' characters may be incorrect as the font was a bit unclear). At this time they have no duty in their specialty but do provide a +2% increase in damage vs. the Vaadwaur, which with other Kobali Doffs can stack to 20%. They can craft any Level 15 Special Items for their R&D specialty except for the Aegis equipment.

If you know of others I can update this list.

    Woah, what?

    Lockbox prizes? Or where do these come from? Teach me to ignore news about LB's if that is where they come from...

    From the title of the thread that is the name of the Doff pack that can drop from the new Vaadwaur lockbox that contains three Kobali VR R&D Doffs. They are quite a few Packs posted on the Exchange at, the last I saw, starting at around 1.7 million EC with the inevitable knuckleheads posting some at ridiculous numbers.

    Their Bio indicates they are Vaadwaur Survivors and have a profession but don't seem to have any 'powers' in that profession. I would assume that to get the +2% damage bonus vs the Vaadwaur you would have to assign them to an Active Space or Ground Duty slot thus losing a valuable slot and taking the Doff out of R&D crafting duties as well while assigned.

    Wow...

    So, with the Xindi DOffs, we got a post outlining each one, IIRC. Looking over the exchange at all the Kobali DOffs popping up, I suspect the reason we have not seen such a post for this set is that there are a lot more of them to detail.

    Or is it just my ADD mind feeling overwhelmed when looking at the number and thinking about cataloging them?

    Looks like the secret is out. :) Oh well, at least my fleetmates and myself already got our new Kobali R&D DOFFs. And Cryptic... THANK YOU for addressing the ridiculuosness of the Xindi DOFF prices by simply giving us new ones so that everyone has a chance to craft now. And a nice TRIBBLE you to those individuals who tried to charge 80M ECs for a friggin' beam officer Drolid. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA! :D

    I want a Kobali boff that spawns a ground turret, and when that turret is blown up collects the parts and magically makes an instant mortar out of it, but it still thinks it's a turret and can't reconcile with non-line-of-sight firing patterns.

    In the end, the mortar is also blown up, and all is right in the universe.
