Help Trading & Selling BOFFs

Can someone tell me how to get BOFFs out of my candidate roster?

I'd like to trade and sell some, but when I right-click there isn't an option to move them to inventory. I also found I can't attach them to a mail message, trade them to other players, or drag them into the sell screen on the exchange.

Is this intentional or a bug? Or am I doing something wrong?

    I would like to know this as well, I just bought some very expensive BOFF's for a new character on my character that has all the money... but now I have no idea how to move them. They are just stuck there.

    If you had them "join" you then I think you can only trade them in person with another player. To move them then you would need to use 2 PCs / 2 STO accounts or get a friend to help:

    Trade 1 : alt 1 -> friend
    Trade 2 : friend -> alt 2

    If you say "NOT NOW" instead of Join, then you should be able to drag any normal boff to a mail message (IF you are at a mail station), or to the Exchange.

    Special boffs like the Delta Pack set and androids can't be traded.

    As it currently stands, you can't! You can thank the new craptacular UI for that. If and when it ever gets fixed, that is more than likely another 5 years out.

    Ok so after some help from some kind people in chat. You cannot trade or send in the mail, you can however sell in the exchange. I just did this myself. I used ONE PC, sold 1 Boff at a time for a low odd number like 99EC, then alt tab to another account and bought them ( since I am trying to get them from one account to another). Keep in mind that doing this is not 100%, if someone else happens to buy them out from under you, then you lose. To sell them in the exchange, simply click on the sell tab, and click the the "drag here" or whatever it says. It will display all things you are able to sell including the Boff's.

    Can you explain the steps you used to post them on the exchange?

    I'm unable to drag them out of the new UI window.

    Go to the Sell page and use the button where you select the item to sell. The BOFFs will show in the drop down list and you can select the one you want to list

    Would be safer to use an expensive price. money can be sent from char to char easily, but less risk someone shoots your bargain.

    This does work! It's not the most efficient way to get something posted but it works. Thank you for posting that info!

    It is probably an over-sight or bug.

    The workaround:
    1) fill your roster. There are some extremely cheap guys on the exchange that can serve as fodder for this.
    2) after your roster is full, your new candidates will go into your bag. You can mail or sell them from here.
