I haven't yet tried to customize her on Holodeck, but did do so on Tribble, and yeah, I can give her a tail if I wanted. Looks a little out of place. Might want to check on that? ;)

She's also capable of having Caitian hands too.

Edit: Whatever you do, don't you dare lock her out of the Tailor like you did with the Hierarchy Boff.

Confirmed its still possible on holodeck, also any uniform can be used as well.
Oh, it's not broken? We can soon fix that!

There is still a modify button on the Hierarchy Boff when I logged on an hour ago.
I haven't try customizing anything yet.

So long as she stays editable I'll be happy, having another locked BOFF would be lame. Granted the cat parts need to go, but can't we keep the faction specific costumes? Like I said uneditable BOFFs are hardly worth having.

I no longer do any Bug Hunting work for Cryptic. I may resume if a serious attempt to fix the game is made.

Any Hierarchy boff that was issued before the patch that locked them down can still be edited. It's only the ones that were issued after that date that cannot be edited.

Run the Anniversary mission "Dust to Dust".

And I'm not saying anything else as I don't want to risk a spoiler!

I have run it, twice in fact on 1 toon and, didn't receive no boff, nor any option to choose 1!

At this point I'm not sure if the boff is supposed to be customizable or not. She can only wear Federation or faction neutral uniforms regardless of actual faction. She has no face presets and head type is locked but does have adjustable face and body sliders. And there's the available Caitain parts which is obviously a bug. But she does have unique hand, arm, and leg skin textures. Her skin color can be changed. And if you put her in a skirt she has a unique Kobali stocking option.

    So...

If it's a bug they should disable the stuff that doesn't make sense (tails) and otherwise leave her as is. Consider it as an apology for an otherwise frustratingly bug filled anniversary event. :)

I will look into it again but, last I remember there was no point on my map!

Zoom in on the mini-map and look for the exclamation point in a box marker. She's also spamming a tricorder so listen for that as you start to get close.

Her placement does indeed change on different playthroughs. At first I wasn't sure because on three different characters she was in the top right section of the maze near the exit, but on a fourth she was around the middle of the maze on the left side.

So what's the issue? That's the boff has too many customization options or that the boff is customizable at all?

If I were to dismiss the Kobali Bridge Officer, could I reclaim her by replaying the mission?

speaking of him, it's too bad he was locked out.

as far as i remember, the reason for that was no assets and having to create them, but from what i've seen the assets are all there. there's a nearly naked hierarchy npc on risa, so the body/skin can be taken from there to fix the holes/invisible parts in outfits.

his default hands you see when you get him need to be unlocked as an item unique to hierarchy race and available by default for all hierarchy boffs rather than not being unlocked.

same for his default clothes, as long as race = hierarchy, the clothes he wears by default should be usable, like some unique nausicaan armors. or hell, even available for all boffs/players from cstore or something.

then all he needs is some face options removed, better limits on various sliders, kdf having klingon specific uniforms instead of fed and there. fully working hierarchy boff is possible without having to create a single asset, just copypasting stuff.
Now clowns, that's another story. They scare the crap out of me.
We fight them too. Entire armies spilling out of Volkswagens.
We do our best to fight them off, but they keep sending them in.

Don´t lock the Kobali Boff please. Give her more customization options instead. no tail or something but let us change her face (make up, younger, older) please.
Every Boff should have the same customization options (including Jem`Hadar, hierarchy and Kobali.

One thing to note about getting the Kobali BOff is that you have to reach her while you're still running through the maze. If you reach the end and turn off the maze before talking to her, she disappears.

Not entirely sure if this qualifies as a bug, but isn't this boff supposed to be unique? I've now got two characters with two Kobali officers - one put to work and the other in the waiting list on both characters. They're all eng/cmd with the exact same abilities. Tried a third attempt at the maze to test, and she showed up again. In fact she seems to show up again on each run through, but I didn't try picking her up a third time.

She also seems to be unsure of her allegiance, as with my Vulcan captain she uses a klingon transporter beam, while she uses a federation beam with my Romulan captain.

As for caitian parts: There is the possibility she used to be caitian in her first life. :P

Maybe I missed it but I can't find her default pants at the tailor. When I go to edit her, her top and pants change. I got the Kabali uniform unlock my first run through the episode, but I don't see those as an option.

The problem is that when you edit her, she defaults to the standard "uniform" type. If you got the Kobali uniform, you should be able to change her costume type to "Kobali Armor", and put her back in the uniform she actually comes with.

This may not be a bug, but still...I've come across the boff, but when I try to pick her up, the computer says I can only have one unique item.

Go to your stations tab and click the Show button on the bottom for boff candidates. If it's not there then open your inventory and see if you have an Overflow Bag button. If you do then open it and remove any items in your overflow. Often times the overflow bag causes various issues.

As for the Kobali boff, I noticed on my KDF captains she has Starfleet uniform options instead of KDF options. Same for my Romulan allied with KDF.

Another issue is that when I look at my commisioned boff roster on the left side of the window, the Kobali boff has a regular engineering icon. After clicking on the boff the icon changes to indicate it is an engineering/command hybrid boff. And after the icon changes I notice my away team ground skills sometimes reset and I have to fiddle with it to get my boffs to have the correct skills assigned.

I chose the option to decline the boff the first time with one character. I replayed the mission and then I could not get the boffl, it said you can only have one of these. I don't seem to have any way to get the boff now.
