I think people that ask stupid questions like that (not yours, the first post) are devs in disguised trying to get dumb people to answer their question so that they can indeed nerf those mission that people are having fun playing, cuz in cryptic's eyes fun = bad, grinding and making this a job instead of a game = goooood
No, I'm just a player, trying to level up 12 characters to level 60 and beyond, with limited times to play. So, I try to find the most efficient way. Maybe it's not the patrol, but I know that some are awfully long and other relatively fast and they give a good quantity of XP. Maybe I will just have to time them, with my next character.

Then back to Argala slave, the metrics demand it...
Honestly I think the fastest I got through a patrol (argali) was under 5 minutes and I'm not too high on the gear, maybe 3 beams at XIII? I did team up with someone that had decent gear, not all gold plated, but decent
Obviously the Hobos race. 3 to 5 minutes tops for 5k XP.
It has the added benefit of training the course for whenever Cryptic decides to do somethign with that place.
But they have all the metrics, why would they need to ask players?
Remember that Dewa incident, no dev asked anything before shutting down the sector block, oh wait...
The funny part is they don't even trust their own BS spreadsheets. When TauDewaGate occurred, they had their metrics, but what did they do? They had devs going and private messaging players that were grinding to ask how they were grinding so fast.
For as much as they obsess about their own internal metrics, it seems they don't even trust them. Which is funny because they base every decision upon them nowadays.

I also have limited play time, but I've found that just using all of my duty officer assignment slots has allowed all 14 of my characters to reach 60 fairly easily, while earning decent amounts of dilithium and crafting supplies to craft gear upgrades. I've been doing patrols for delta marks, but that xp has not been a significant contribution to leveling.
Even though its not the fastesd to complete, I'd have to say Argala like everyone else in terms of xp grinding efficiency. You get a lot of xp from killing the npc's.

The Doffs really help. I max it out at 20 which all is allowed for my current set up. Other than hitting the patrols all you can do. With the new Romulan missions that just came out. I plan on hitting those to see how they are now. Hope that will give me some more Exp. I just hit Lv56, and after doing the missions that you get. It only gave me 2 bars on the Exp meter. So I see the "road block" many talked about when you get that far. Plus I tend to hit the Kobali ground area as well. To keep it different and reduce a burn out.
