Looking for a family friendly fleet :)

I AM STILL LOOKING

Hey everyone, I am looking for a very casual family friendly/G rated kind of fleet :) you know the no swearing, non sexual, no stress kind :) - This is a must. I need a calm place.

I am a 26 years old girl, with a lot of disabilities so sometimes keeping up is hard... including some memory problems.

I don't really care about reputation, doing the most damage or doing elite stuff. I am level 59 and I fly a benthan and just play mostly for the story. :) and its really important I'm not pressured to do anything I don't want to.

Please don't reply unless its truly a G rated/family friendly place. Many thanks

    Hi Madeline

We're the Socially Awkward Tribbles. :)
A small growing fleet, that has the sole purpose of getting the max amount of fun out of the game.
We do a little of everything, Fleet actions, roleplaying, dilithium hoarding, you name it.
Our group is very casual, and we're understanding towards real life challenges when it comes to online activity.

We're a family and take care of every member, even the ones that needs a little extra to keep up. ^^

If our group sounds like something you'd like, feel free to msg me ingame.
Im usually on every day at some time or another.

    A family-friendly fleet...

Well if you don't mind a somewhat new Fleet than I'd be happy to welcome you to Lotus Security.

I'd recommend the thread I made for the Fleet on the forums if you'd like more information, but I'd rather not. It's not very good... other than that, if you have any further questions or requirements beyond the one's that you have already stated then I'm sure myself and even the others would be happy to answer them.

The general rule in Lotus Security is to be civil and respectful. I'd like to think that entails that there's no swearing and sexual comments.

I'm not too sure what you mean by 'no stress kind', but if you mean you'd like a place to simply be a part of and not have to worry about things, then Lotus Security would fit that description.

    Oh sorry!
We try to keep a civil tongue in our fleet, and definitely no sexual content aside from the odd table dancing now and then If that can be regarded as such. xD

Hiya whilst we are recruiting and would be happy to have you join us, i feel like you may not have understood the previous message we left, our fleets are no angels and would probably be rated R - X

I see, I wish you didn't post then. That was very misleading. It just seemed very organized. I apologize for taking your time.

I don't think you should be the one to apologize, given Suzy32 should have been a bit more clear on how their Fleet is.

Honestly, you'd be hard-pressed to find a purely G-rated Fleet.

Most Fleets are unruly where there's only a basic small set of rules that are enforced only when things get out of hand. (aka the drama gets out of control)

Some are Elitist who do STF's to perfection and get easily mad if anything goes wrong and require that you do a certain number of STF's daily or weekly... (You meet several if you do stf's randomly) Personally... these kinds of Fleets are stressful and rather unfriendly.... more like a business transaction, to be honest.

Then there's the Fleets who have a strict set of rules, hierarchy and 'jobs'. A good example of this kind of Fleet would be the UFP Fleet.
Doesn't mean there's anything bad about it though. It's a very nice and polite Fleet, given I was in it once, but it's a good example of a "stressful" fleet with the amount of rules and such you have to follow.

Then there's the... small minority Fleets. The Fleets that float around with 1 person or a handful of people. Generally these fleets have people or a person who don't like the other fleets for whatever reason. It varies from person to person. (Or some just suck at recruiting or simply don't recruit at all)

If you're looking for a Fleet that would fit your requirements Madeline, then I would suggest you try one of the 'small' Fleets.
They would probably be as close to a G-rated Fleet as you can get the go with your other requirements, though the problem there is that they don't use the forums or websites or they do and they don't actively recruit people. (Because honestly, no one joins a new/low-level Fleet unless it's with friends... it's discriminating, but that's how it is, sadly)

This is my opinion on the Fleets in STO at the moment, so take my words as you will. (With a grain of salt)

If you have not found a Fleet yet, I'm still willing to extend you the offer to join Lotus Security.

While informal and I don't think most Fleets do it, you can join Lotus Security for a day or two. See if it'll fit for you and if it doesn't, you can move onto another Fleet with no argument or problems.

You can probably do the same kind of 'test run' for other various Fleets if they'll allow it.
