    Let me see.....options.

    They're gonna blow up DS9? And replace it with that thing from the novels?

    The first story mission with no combat whatsoever? It's PvNothing. Could bill it as an in-game episode of ST.

    I could totally see that, seeing as they've already brought in the Vesta from the novels. Plus, DS9/the Cardassian stuff is the last of the 'old' game that hasn't been revamped, yet.

    But I'm hoping maybe it's a new PvP Red Alert kind of deal? Maybe the Borg 'assimilate' certain players and that's how you get the opposing factions set up?

    Orrr the Borg are trying to salvage something and the the Feds and KDF both want it, kind of like a ghetto Kerrat, minus the stretchy Cubes.

    We're probably getting the old/revamped DS9 fleet action back. The devs probably wouldn't consider that PVE because.... they think they're being sneaky and much smarter than they actually are.

    What about a DS9 revamp? Tacofang's redoing the artwork would qualify as neither PvE nor PvP. A Borg attack on DS9 could be the background story on why DS9 needs renovation.

    Well as one of the few "trek" areas... I could see that happening. Then if they drop the Trek IP.. they could just rename it 空间游戏至尊. They would only have to redo around 70% of the ship models and disable all the ground uniforms I would think. lol

    So just a series of stories about why the changes were made...no mission involved...and tada.

    Hrmm...

    ...course, that would be getting folks hopes up that there was going to be a DS9 revamp. :P

    We'll have no getting anybody's hopes about anything in this thread! ;)

    "Cold Comfort" and "Spin the Wheel" did that years ago. OTOH both date back to pre-F2P...
