21st Fleet is one of the UFP fleets, and also a community of trekkers who play moderate RP (or middle-RP). That means nobody will be forcing you to speak Vulcan but we also doean't accept illogical or non-authentic character names.
We honor elegant and smart playstyle in the context of roleplaying. For the members of community, roleplay is the matter of preserving unique feel of Star Trek, and also an opportunity for self-expression through the personality of the character.
Basically, we are fleet-based RP. We accept acting commanders of all specialisations. Creativity of potential candidate overweighs his/her ingame rank and abilities.
Though we are fleet-based RP, we also accept parties that represent ship-based RP.
We also accept casual/NRP players who is willing to enjoy the game in friendly and safe environment.
Our fleet has tier 3 base. Therefore, we have strong connections within the allied fleet that helps us to get high-end gear. At least one of our FDC officers is available every day on Vent at approximately 12 a.m. GMT to get your character invited to the allied fleet's map or to transfer your character back and forth between the fleets.
Established as a first (and only) fleet for Russian-speaking roleplayers, recently we made decision to open our ranks for English-speaking players.
Bad news ladies and gentlemen.
Our co-founder @Delion went insane, and opposed self-proclaimed ideals to the expertise of 5 other fleet members (3 of them active).
First, he has wiped out our RP section of forum. All character backgrounds, ship and personal logs have been lost.
After being faced with accusations on destroying other's intellectual property, he had TRIBBLE his administrative account, re-enabled it and wiped out the rest of the boards.
He had also sabotaged the voice chat.
The details on official 21st Fleet RP community forums will be provided as soon as either we bring the database from backup copy on another host or set up the whole new forums.
Lots of work with the filesystem need to be done.
So far, this thread stays the only official recruiting resource for the 21st Fleet RP Community.
Here are some news about our fleet.
First of all, since October 2014 we have been suffering massive spam-bot incursion. That is why nowadays registration on our boards is restricted for those who own personal command code. The command code is unique for any new fleet member and can be obtained either via in-game mail or via RaidCall voice chat. I tend to keep it on and check it frequently enough that the possible delay will be no longer than 24 hours. But you're not in a hurry, are you?
Second, I'm glad to announce that we now have technical options to craft almost anything our fleetmates could ever want. That includes, of course, free TR116B rifles for anyone who has made own mind and is willing to stay in the fleet, and also free Mk XIV compression phaser pistols (as a standard armament for all fleet tactical and command officers).
I apologise for any misunderstanding or inconvenience that 21st Fleet recruiters may have caused during last recruiting tour to the Starfleet Academy. The fact of being called 'commies' (we are mainly from the Commonwealth of Independent States, remember?) had triggered their foul humour and though it was actually funny to see a cloaked Klingon stalking female cadets, I believe he and the other officer, who acted similarly to muggler of a sort, either will learn to behave or will not accompany us on official recruiting events.
Recently I've been informed of an unusual situation. A newly-recruited officer has left the fleet for not being able to purchase Obelisk carrier or something else from the Spire. While acquiring the items may had been his only motivation, and such course of actions I definitely don't encourage, I am also aware of my fleetmates being less skilled in foreign languages. That is why, if you are uncertain about fleet activities, feel free to contact me on that matter. Sadly, only few do, and even fewer want to communicate via boards/voice chat.
As for the opportunities of acquiring something from fleet facilities, we have an agreement with the more advanced fleet, to use their facilities anytime we need. The only exception is fleet ship provisions, cause they are paid for (although, prices have dropped). That is why we have an attach
A group of adventurous captains, included captain John Shaftoe, have detached from the fleet.
That fact does not mean that the fleet is in the turmoil or any other unstable conditions. If one tells you so, take these words as a jest.
We honor their right to choose quitting. The guys have decided to try something new.
Nevertheless, with or without them, we continue to exist, expand and occasionally gather the most dedicated captains to form on our wings.
That also means that we now have new voice chat channel. Feel free to come and ask your questions on RaidCall channel 2090737.
There are three dates which are wellknown to any trekker: Leonard Nimoy birthday, First Contact day and the Cosmonautics Day. We will try to arrange special RP events on these particular occasions.
Live long and prosper
Update: due to mr. Nimoy's recent death, an event linked to his birthdate will be either cancelled or held as memorial.
I'll be honest, it seems like your guild has suffered a bit of drama, and I'm not really looking for drama. That said, I'm willing to give your guild a try.
A bit about me. I have limited time to play because of family obligations, but I have been in love with the Star Trek universe since my early childhood. I have extensive experience roleplaying Star Trek, having DM'ed a Star Trek RPG for five years. A lot of work is put into my characters personality, backstory, motivations, and story arcs. Mostly I'll be available in the evenings and alternate Saturdays. As I said, a very busy family man!
I have a couple questions - how active is your guild's schedule? How forgiving/rigid is your guild's requirements for attendance? Do you require a single uniform for all captains and their officers? And what is your guild's acceptance level on Headcon (backstory that involves aliens or history I made up).
Unfortunately we still have drama aftershocks, I just hope they won't last any longer.
Guild's schedule is floating. There are calendar events that are scheduled, and there are non-scheduled events that are either depicted in fleet's logs (in case of a member not having an opportunity to attend) or played spontaneously. The majority of the guild often comes online around 1 - 3 p.m. UTC.
We do require uniform (Odyssey, canon colours). Service weapons are provided by the fleet. You can use any weapon to your liking but those are required for official ceremonies.
Often, a character's background or a short story is required to join, the only requirement is that the details should follow Star Trek canon. Often backgrounds contain service records and some details that depict personality of a character. If your character is of non-canon (or non-fed aligned) species, you should clarify how he/she/it has enlisted UFP Starfleet.
All character names should be chosen according to character's origin.
We also understand that there are people who prefer walk-up RP to writing something like that, for their characters an in-game meeting with the commanding officers is required prior to entering the ranks.

I'm captain Shaftoe and... Glad to inform you that we've solved our problems... one month ago, and now fleet 21st fleet united and ready to play.
Will be glad to see you in our roster.
