why do the spammers plague Qo'nos? I'm reporting dozens of these guys every week and yet nothing seems to keep them away

Might want to edit that post, don't want players to actually go there and waste their money/get their info stolen

I guess I should post this on STOReddit as well since that is what people at Cryptic/ PWE pay attention to

considering I've been "Report Spam" and "Report to GM" on a regular, daily basis...yeah.

What you should be saying is yay the KDF has spammers. It is not a luxury of the past lol.

It was so bad in the past they wouldn't even bother coming to our homeworld that is how badly cryptic neglected the KDF lol.

I have noticed that ALOT lately also. I wonder if the "report spam" button works. It seems to just add to my "Ignore List" but I dont know if its forwarded to a Mod. Anyone know? Is it wrong to copy there post and click "Report to GM"?

What would make it tolerable at least was if they spam that kind of thing, the game flags them as a targetable enity. Once dead they go on your ignore list. :P

Every time I have visited Qo'nos over the last few weeks, I have had to ignore at least 1 spammer. If they wanted the business they would go to ESD (higher number of players, also a higher number of new players (KDF tend to be more experienced)), but no, they continue to keep creating accounts to be totally ignored on Qo'nos. If a GM would visit Qo'nos, they could give them all IP bans so our ignore lists don't reach the level mine has (mine causes STO to lag quite badly when it's open).

If you can't solve it logically, solve it like a moron.

51 + 1 Foundry Character Slots is NOT enough. Some of us love our characters. If I want to buy more character slots, why can't I? I couldn't experience the entire Delta Recruitment event without deleting a character.

The Iconians themselves can't time travel because their memories revert, but there is nothing to say an Iconian couldn't write everything she needed to do on a PADD, pin it to herself, travel back, read the PADD, do the tasks and return. Or just get one of her Non-Herald underlings to go back in time for her.

Want a Star Trek themed starship command fan-made Board Game that isn't fiendishly complicated but not so easy it's a joke? Download mine for free here. https://roebot56.deviantart.com/art/BOARD-GAME-R56-s-Starship-Command-STAR-TREK-Edn-682732468 A Stargate version of the game is available from a link in the description.

Oh yeah, I do Foundry missions for both KDFs and Feds. Just search KSTF (Short for Kinas Special Task Force, where Kinas is the name of the Admiral you will be serving under). The earlier ones are less story based and more combat based, while the later ones have a much heavier story element, but keep the large battles.

first of all, click edit and remove the site name from your post and never mention the site again, if you type it ingame twice or any "gold" site you will be banned without question and instantly by the sto "robot" that tries to detect the names as you notice the spammers try to get around this.

second sto does not do ip bans only account, they ban them and they make more accounts and the process repeats

these sites there are a few different ones are 100% not permitted by sto, pwe, cryptic, arc, santa(lol),whatever and should be avoided, any transaction with them is not legal could get your account banned or TRIBBLE or computer infected ect...that is a warning

    some advice
whille ingame click the box next to the place you type in scroll down untick zone this will turn zone chat off for that character saves you from seeing the spam, and the gorn jokes you can turn it back on at anytime you please and off as well, for anything mailed to you just hit report spam and its not limited to first city alot of zones have the spam and a general rule talking about spam is a bit of a no no

Another one of these posts. Probably going to add this to the fct as well

Just right click and report spam on them. The downside to being f2p is that they can keep coming back, banned or not. Chat filters help but they find ways Around it.

    Anywho /closed
