Although I haven't been able to test out these patch notes yet, nice ones. (Or any of them for that matter, because the Tribble character I can get is a native from scratch, sorry to put that in this thread though.)
So, I see (Checked in-game) that we still can not train Bridge Officers in the Command Abilities. I've spend a total of 14 points in the Command Specialization so far, and nothing has unlocked in the Command School to train my boff's.
Frankly Drozana needs to have Specialization Points added to the special testing gear store.
There's no way in H-E Two stick, that I'm gonna ever get 90 Specialization points on Tribble.
I haven't even gotten thirty on Holodeck.

Go to the Jolene Dyson Sphere in the Delta Quad. As soon as you beam in, there is a "Tribble XP Granter" there. DO NOT USE IF BELOW 60! It is bugged. However, if your level 60, it will give you 2 points a day.
Tribble is being brought down for maintenance to update it to build ST.47.20141230a.5
Known Issues:
New systems are currently a work in progress including:
Captain Specialization Tree: Command Officer
Bridge Officer Specialization: Command Officer
Bridge Officer Training Revamp
New Research and Development School: Officer Training
All 3 classes are available to craft.
Just asking, does that mean that I will be able to craft Boff abilities based on my own profession only? Say, I am a Sci, so I can only craft higher Sci abilities, but not Eng or Tac ones?
But I can buy higher other profession manuals from the Exchange, like Cannon Rapid Fire III or
Direct Energy Modulation III?

Correct on all fronts. Currently (As of this build), the Training school is allowing crafting of training manuals of all careers, but it is in fact a mistake.
Anyone else having an issue with Tribble crashing to desktop or is it just me? I put in 2 tickets and have received no responses whatsoever. I'll put in a million if I have to.

Unless something has changed In game it said you need 22.
FYI, it looks like a full Dev Blog with more information about this feature is scheduled for release next week.
Until then, I'll try to answer any questions that come up as you test the feature in its current state on Tribble.
NOTE: The only way (currently) to have access to Command Bridge Officers, is to create one using the new Bridge Officer Training system. You must spend 10 points in the new Command Officer Captain Specialization in order to unlock the Specialization Qualification item used to add a Specialization to an existing Bridge Officer.

Thats awesome! 2 points per day! So we can start testing in 2 weeks! Wtf

Yes, exactly. The manuals you'll be able to craft are for the same abilities you can train through your status screen now, based on what skills you've filled in. The manuals aren't bound, so you can trade/sell them and buy others.
This will probably be a pointless question very soon..how on earth do you get to craft varying career/class modules (that aren't your character's class)?

No! This is how they ensure you test things as you progress instead of just skipping to the end and missing out on testing everything inbetween.

That's bad business though. There are things at the end of the system that need to be tested as quickly as possible. Though for some things you'll want them to test the lower level version of course, once per day really slows the problem hunting down.

So, about that character copy...maybe Thursday?

Commanding Officer: Captain Pyotr Ramonovich Amosov
Dedication Plaque: "Nil Intentatum Reliquit"
No, it is still crashing, at least for me
Character Copy seems to be working for me again. However, tribble XP granter dropped me from 56 to 53.
2) I still do not have the ability to slot bridge officers into ship stations. I am running the Romulan Arc with innate tac abilities only.

Better start grinding then! You gotta work for at least 2 years for 5 minutes of their work time

Even in game, it states 10 Points.

Oh you mean the ability to make them commander specialization in the first place not making them have commander abilities.
probably has something to do with the bug where the BO tab isn't even working correctly.

Uh, why would you have to wait 2 weeks to start testing?

Maybe just use it to delevel after leveling through other means?
