"Request R&D Assistance" Results from 5 Toons

After running the R&D Assistance DOff mission with 5 different toons, I recieved the following results:

In all cases, I got 140 or so Recruitment DOff XP

Reman Science Toon:
8 Duranium (Common Material)
4 Tritanium (Uncommon Material
5 Tetrazine Gas (Rare Material)
1 IFF Beacon (Uncommon Component)
1 Plasma Capacitor (Uncommon Component)
1 Micro Power Cell (Rare Component)
1 Quantum Field Focus (Rare Component)
1 Warp Field Regulator (Very Rare Component - Normally 1,000 Dilithium)

KDF Engineer:
4 Duranium (Common Material)
4 Hydrazine Gas (Common Material
8 Tritanium (Uncommon Material)
3 Z-Partices (Rare Material)
4 Argonite Gas (Very Rare Material)
1 Handheld Calibration Control (Rare Component)
1 Ejection System (Rare Component)

Romulan Engineer:
1 Common Research Lab Scientist (Shields R&D School - Does Electrical damage with Stasis Field)
4 Duranium (Common Material)
4 Trionium Gas (Common Material)
4 Magnesite (Common Material)
3 Rubidium (Rare Material)
1 Focusing Lens (Common Component)
1 Lab Equipment (Common Component)
1 Power Surge Regulator (Rare Component)
1 Warp Field Regulator (Very Rare Component - Normally 1,000 Dilithium)

KDF Tac Officer:
4 Duranium (Common Material)
4 Tritanium (Uncommon Material)
4 Verteron Particles (Uncommon Material)
2 Plekton (Very Rare Material)
1 Lab Equipment (Common Component)
1 Focusing Lens (Common Component)
1 Targeting Interface (Common Component)
1 Coolant Injector (Uncommon Component)
1 Quantum Field Focus (Rare Component)
1 Isolinear Circuitry (Very Rare Component - Normally 1,000 Dilithium)

FED Engineer:
4 Magnesite (Common Material)
4 Duranium (Common Material)
3 Thoron Particles (Uncommon Material)
3 Rubidium (Rare Material)
1 Particle Field Generator (Common Component)
1 Subprocessor Unit (Uncommon Component)
1 Power Surge Regulator (Rare Component)
1 Firing Sequencer (Rare Component)
1 Ejection System (Rare Component)
2 Micro Power Cells (Rare Component)

Overall Verdict: Chances of a R&D Specialist DOff are fairly low, however there are good returns for High-end materials and components. It's possible to save considerable amounts of materials with Rare Component drops and even save dilithium with Very Rare component drops.

    OK, where exactly at starfleet academy do I have to go to get this mission? I've seen it possible d that you have to go to the personnel officer, but I've been to the 3 I know of and none of them has this assignment listed.

    I also would like to know where this is...I have not seen this from the Personnel Officers or my Doff assignments. Heard about...where the heck is it??

    Examples:

    FED = Starfleet Academy (go to circular building in the northwest of the Starfleet Academy compounds/seek Personnel Officer)
    KDF = Klingon Academy (go to cave interior, left side upon entering)
    ROM = New Romulus Command (forget the exact location)

    Start with the Personnel Officer. In the menu, choose "Submit Request for Personnel", then scroll down and choose "Request R&D Assistance" mission. It does require 1,000 dilithium.
