latency on east coast

what is up with the all the server not responding issue we are having on the east coast this game is non playable for us out here

    Not just east coast. I'm in Houston and I've been getting disco'd every other time I zone today. It was bad yesterday; it's TERRIBLE today. I tried several other games, including some ARC games, and the issue is specific to STO. More of Cryptic's duct tape-and-prayer server technology, I shouldn't wonder.

    Yeah, getting Login2_Timeout every time I attempt to load a toon.

    I'm getting same issues here (Europe), last few days getting severe lag and disconnections and painful time-outs trying to log back in, particularly last two days. But pretty much since their "Stability Update for the Holodeck server" a few days ago. All other content and internet is perfect - problems only applies to STO.
