Bug on Claiming Breen Warship?

Does anyone know if the Dev's are going to bother trying to fix the bug that is preventing players who already have that Breen Warship from getting the discount on alt characters?
Because I'm starting to wonder if they didn't do this "bug" on purpose... :eek:

    Over in the bug forum, jheinig has already said that he's got a fix for this (particularly for those who bought the Chel Grett the first year it was offered since that was through a store, not a rep system) working internally and has it out to QA for testing. With any luck it could be out in a patch this week, possibly next week.

    So... When does the Winter event end?? Early January, right? I can't remember the exact date right now.

    No fix this week.

    Patch notes that are code for nothing fixed here for this weeks update just posted.

    Yep which, as others have pointed out, put us to the January 8th patch as our last chance for a fix ... unless there's an earlier one on the 6th fro some reason.

    I'm really disappointed that this thing hasn't been fixed one the live server yet since there's been a working fix on the test server for a couple of weeks now.

    yes, it will be January 8th or nada. most likely nada. 40/60 odds.

    then they may decide to just give the ships away on the 12th or 13th.

    I am hoping Cryptic will extend the winter event another few weeks to compensate for the late fix on the Chel Grett discount bug.

    I am very disappointed. That would be a Hotfix in other online games, which would be fixed within a day. No developer would wait 2 weeks to fix a critical bug like this, during a limited time event like WinterWonderland.

    The problem in not just for those who bought the Chell Grett the first year.

    I've started on all ships with different characters this year. I've bought them with 1000 pics and the only discount which seems to work is the Sarr-Theln-Carrier. I've got it on all other toons for 40 pics.

    The other ships however still want the 1000 even though I've bought it for 1000 on a toon.
    So far I've only unpacked 1 carrier, so it has nothing to do with upgrading a ship.
    The Plesh Brek and the Chell Grett are still unpacked.

    I really hope they'll fix it...

    Because a picture says more than a 1000 words / glossies...

    First time claiming a Chel Grett on that account, project was slotted and completed during this event. Discount obviously didn't work...

    I can understand the Dev's taking time off for New Years, but we don't have much time left in the event! Are they planing on fixing this or not?!?!? :mad:

    Im just here adding my name to the long list of players that cannot claim the grett on the cheap after grinding out 1k pictures of Q -.-' at least the carrier worked, one of my fleet mates said even that didnt work for him
