I have been trying to do STF's, But every time I try I get "Server not Responding" and then I get kicked to login screen.
This does not happen when I do any races in Q's winter wonderland or doing any quests.
BTW :: I can not claim the Breen Plesh Brek Raider on any of my other characters even though I have claimed it on 1 character for 1000 autographs... ( but that's for another forum.)
I think the problem is in the name of the ship it self .... in the event it's called Breen Plesh Brek Raider ... But as a claimed ship it is called Breen Plesh Brek "Heavy" Raider... Just a thought.
This connection problem started ever since the last patch was released.
These SnR's are not 1 constant SnR's, But many of them sometimes 5 to 10 for 5 to 30 seconds each. Then things either go normal gameplay or kicked to login. (mostly kicked )
Most or all teammates at the time of SnR's all have the same issues, As we are able to chat during the SnR's.
This is what I have done to try to fix things on my end.
1. Restarted my computer
2. Unplugged my router/modem waited for 2 mins and restored power.
3. FlushDNS ... should not have to after restart but did it anyways
4. ipconfig /release then ipconfig /renew ... should not have to after restart but did it anyways
5. Game loader options > Force verify
6. Did the recommended tests and text copy to notepad.

Trace complete.
Doing all of this has done nothing to resolve my connection issues.
I have been in contact with my ISP and they said my connection is working great.
My speed test connecting to San Francisco CA. From Southern Ontario is 30.9MBps Down and 12.1MBps Up
Apparently this is not a problem on my end, These problems have to be addressed server side.

Those tests aren't meant to resolve the connection issue, they're diagnostic tools to recognize where the connection problem exists, and you already identified the problem when you highlighted the stops that are slowing down your connection. That's the good news, the bad news is that the atlas.cogentco.com stops that are slowing your connection are not controlled by Cryptic. The problem isn't on your end, it's not on your ISP's end, and it's not on Cryptic's end. Unfortunately, until America sets down some strict rules about an open internet, companies that you have nothing to do with are going to have the ability to mess with your connection across the internet.
There must be a way to bypass this server/ hub atlas.cogentco.com or what ever it is that is creating this problem.
Can I block it in my firewall or something ?
EDIT ::: I just googled atlas.cogentco.com and found 110000 enteries... most of them are saying there is a problem with their hubs not letting games connect properly...

Well, considering you showed some hefty latency and, some serious packet loss, that is probably where the problem is at.
And, when it comes to U.S. ISP's, they are the ones who decide how the flow is regulated and, it isn't unheard of them to simply throw the switch to cause throttling on those they deem not a VIP at any given time.
Money speaks loudly the most to them and, that means lots of money!

...
Actually, your ISP has the ability to bypass this through their choice of backbone peering agreements. You however, cannot affect this, except through the use of a VPN Proxy service, and connect via someone else ISP connection...
My Silicon Valley connection to the STO Servers does not have any significant lag issues, so obviously, there are ways to connection to STO while avoiding the network congestion issues...
I contacted cogentco.com and inquired about the problem .... They said there maybe intermittent connection problems and will contact Cogeco cable about the problem Cogeco cable is the leasee of the Hub yhm01.atlas.cogentco.com.
I also called Cogeco cable (my ISP ) about this issue and they said there is nothing wrong with yhm01.atlas.cogentco.com. But will put in a ticket anyways. Lets hope they fix it.
So again I ask ... Is there a way I can block or bypass this problem hub ?
EDIT ::: How do I set up a proxy to bypass yhm01.atlas.cogentco.com ?
I have been experiencing issues like this since they`re so called server stability update and now The Game is unplayable due to these connection problems. so I might just call it quits on playing this.:mad::mad:
So I've tried 5 different VPN Proxies and I'm still unable to do STF"s without SnR's and being kicked to login.
I don't know what else to do... If there was a way to get any these proxies to tunnel to the game server bypassing the problem hub, Please let me know.

A Google search for 'VPN Proxy' should get you some information. Do be aware that these are commercial services that cost $$$....
