I'd expect that Cryptic had all hands on deck finishing the Voyager pack, and now they're making good on their message in the link. It's taking an... oddly long time to give the Romulans, and the KDF, their fair share of the T6 goodies for sure. But now that Voyager is here, there should be something coming soon.
Unless the Winter Event gives away a T6 ship that's taken the devs off faction-specific development again... at which point, ouch
You mean the 'Breen Sarr Theln Carrier [T6]' that is listed on the set bonus for the previous Breen Winter ships?
It is somewhat conceivable that they have had this ready and waiting for the winter event for a long time, perhaps even since before last winter's event.

Yeah, hopefully if it's already coded into the game as per the set's description, then it isn't slowing down any work that may be going on with Romulan ships.
If you haven't realized it yet, faction development outside the Feds is grudgingly done at the very bare minimum. The KDF had been fighting this fight since STO launched, and unlike the Roms, is an actual, independent faction. And it still gets barely any attention.
Cryptic hates developing for the KDF, and the only thing they hate more than the KDF is PVP. The Roms, since Cryptic got your money already, fall somewhere in the middle of that.
If you want evidence, all you need to see is:
- The absurd, lopsidedness of faction ship choices. If the final clue of 6 Fed T6 ships vs 2 KDF/2 Rom ships isn't enough, then I don't know what to say to you. Other than this is the norm.
- The return to a Fed-only storyline and the lack of Non-Fed POV stories: The last time faction specific stories were done were with LOR's release long ago. After that, they returned to this cheap method of stories for Non-Feds: Replace "Admiral" with "General," randomly insert "Honor" and "Glory" and BAM! It's suddenly a KDF mission! For the Roms, you could make it even simpler. They use the term admiral so you don't even need to change that. Just make no mention of the Romulan people nor the Romulan Star Empire or Romulan Republic, then you're good to go! The storylines since LOR, most esp the featured episodes as they came online, have followed the same dreadful pattern of the worst of the old missions. They're just as bad as the Dominion story arcs for generic blandness.
Anyways, Cryptic made their money off the Roms already, just like they did with the KDF long ago. Now the Roms are in development Purgatory with the KDF. Welcome, I guess.
Please release a t6 negh'var, d'deridex, and gal-x. Goes back to winter wonderland...
You know its bad when KDF and Rom players ask for T6 versions of existing ships hehe. Dont worry thought knuht, i'm not picking on you. I've actually come close to posting the same thing a few times. But i actually didnt bother because we all know what happens to suggestion posts/threads here. My idea was slightly different though. Basically i was thinking that maybe they should take existing 3d models like you suggested (D'Deridex and Dhelan) and they take all the stats and slots from the Fed T6 ships they made and just tack those on to the existing 3d models. So you have a T6 Rom ship with the stats, slots, consoles of a Guardian but the 3d model of a D'Deridex. You make a T6 Rom ship with the stats/slots/consoles of a Scryer and use the 3d model of a Dhelan.
Doing that would probably have some downsides though...

For the most part, bumping any of these ships up to T5-U makes them equivalent to a T-6, just without the Intel bits and the final trait. 2+ months into the new end-game, I really haven't seen T6 blow away the previous end-game ships. T6 will remain the place for new ships that have the additional specialization access - just Intel for now, but likely more in the future.
I'd actually expect Cryptic to keep developing brand new T5 ships (hopefully with a free upgrade to T5-U? ), in cases where they want to make something without locking it into a specialization.
So with that, I'm just hoping for new Romulan ships in general at some point in the near future.

While I would not necessarily support a Galaxy-X nor a D'Deridex at T6 as we already have a C-Store T5 version. I WOULD support both a T6 Negh'Var/Voohiedh which could be similar to the Romulan T6 crusier, but with crusier powers instead of singularity powers. I would also support modifying the C-Store T5 Galaxy-R into a full on T6 ship complete with a trait and hybrid intel BOFF slots, but WITHOUT the cloaking device.

More like development hell. Or Software hell.
