Elite Peregrine Fighters or Elite Jem'Hadar Fighters on Elachi Dread?

I have been doing some runs with the Elachi Dread, and it seems the elite Elachi oschu shuttles are pretty weak on the DPS side.

Which would be a better raw DPS hanger pet? The Peregrine Fighters or the Jem'Hadar Fighters? or is there another that you guys would recommend?

    You will need a JHAS to gain access to the fighters which is not cheap.
    As for the actual performance of the JH fighters i cannot comment since i have never used them.

    The Elite scorpion fighters top the Elite Peregrine fighters though and i have been told that Elite Swarmers top both.
    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    Strange, must be a bug atm. I am looking at the elite Jemhadar fighters on the fleet starbase vendor and its not listed as a pet that has a requirement atm. Says I can equip them on any ship with a hanger bay.

    You can equip the Jem fighters on any ship, but you have to own the JHDC or the JHEC to buy them. The JHAS unlocks the frigates which can only be used on the JHDC.

    So I guess swarmers are going to be my best dps option?

    Weapons:
    1x Elachi Dual Cannons (Fore)
    1x Elachi Dual Heavy Cannons (Fore)
    1x Elachi Torpedo Launcher (Fore)
    1x Elachi Turret (Aft)
    Abilities:
    Torpedo: Spread II
    Cannon: Rapid Fire II
    Elusive Target
    Subspace Jump
    Evade Target Lock I
    You have access to these beasts and you are looking for "fighters"??? Use the benefit of frigates. They might be 2 pets only coming out of your ship's hangar but as frigates they have ~36k hp each and just look at their weapons and abilities....

    That's only if he also owns the S'golth or the Monbosh. Buying an an entire ship just for the frigate pets might not be an option for him. If it is though, then yeah he should totally go for it.

    Well, that is what I guess I am here asking. Is something better? I have never had to worry about hangers before. So I guess it has me at a loss. I was wondering if there was better. After reading some other threads perhaps its not so bad. Someone mentioned people have trouble getting pets to do 3 to 5k damage. Where Ive noticed the elachi hanger pets do much better. 8 to 12k each on avg ISA or CCA.

    Just wasent sure if that was good or below avg.

    Heck one in last ISA did 43k and the other 29k to me that seemed bad though

    Are you talking about pet damage done during the whole STF? What do you mean having trouble with pets doing 3-5k damage? I am using carriers and pets are always doing ~50-100k per 1 pet or more and in the end if I did lets say 5M damage - 2.5M was done by carrier pets. Something like that.
    You got me confused, please clarify.

    As for the hangar pets aside frigates, well - all of them have small hull and die fast but obelisk swarmers got some good offensive abilities. Get the ones which may be in synergy with your build. You should explore this new feature by yourself and create your own opinion.
