Sarr Theln ( Help me Decide a Build )

So, halfway to having the new shiny T6 carrier ( 5xx/1000 photos ) and debating on which build to run for it.

1:

5x RomPla Beam Arrays
1x Experimental Rom Array

Lt. Com. Tact - TT1, BFaW2, APB2
Lt. Engie - EptS1, A2B1
Lt. Uni - EptW1, A2B1
Fill up the sci slots with TSS, Sci Teams, Grav well 3, etc.

Using 3x Tech doffs.

2:

5x RomPla Beam Arrays
1x Experimental Rom Array

Lt. Com. Tact - TT1, APB1, BFaW3
Lt. Uni - TT1, BFaW2
Lt. Eng - EptS1, EptW2
Lt. Sci - ST1, HE2
Com. Sci - TSS1, HE2, Grav Well 1, Grave Well 3

Using 3x DCE doffs

Which would be more efficient in terms of damage output.I'm not interested in the whole, a2b sux. Don't use it. only newbs use it. I'm more interested in efficiency and damage output. I used an A2B build on old mirror voquv and it did decently, i didn't really see/have any issues with fielding full elite scorp pets ( which will be using ) and running out due to them blowing up and waiting on hanger recharges.

I'd go option 2, just so you have aux to make your sci stuff count and let you use the Aux traits and a 4th Amp boost. Plus if you're using purples you can get by with 2 DCE doffs, giving you an extra slot for other stuff (a TT doff maybe). I'm not an A2B hater or anything, I just wouldn't use it on this ship.

I was planning to make mine into a drain build.

Weapons: mix of protonic and dominion polarons beams

    cmd sci: tss1, he2, tyken's 2, energy syphon 3
    lt sci: he1, ES1 or he1, tyken's 2
Depending on if I use 3 piece Breen set.
Energy dissipator from Breen 3 piece is equivalent to ES3

    lt eng: epts1, eptw2
lt uni/intel: at least 1 oss, other either ET or aux2sif
    lt com tac: tt1, bfaw2, apb2

doffs: mix of conn officer, dam control and deflector officer

Yeah, was debating on if I'd get more bang for my buck out of bfaw + a2b or no. I'd get a TT doff, but those are a little expensive and with the recent fiasco with steam zen purchases, it makes getting keys to turn over for EC to afford a TT doff a bit tough. Though TT doff isn't really " required " as you can slap on 2x TT1 and 2c BFaW on it still with just the bare DCE doffs. I don't remember what quality my DCEs were. Either 2 purples or 1 purple and 2 blues.

I forgot to mention if I went with the DCE build over A2B, I would be respeccing to put points into partigen skill to boost the grav well since I will have aux to spare.

I was tossing around the idea of switching from RomPla to Anti Proton, and using 3x DBBs, Anti Proton omni from the set, and a crafted Omni, kinetic cutter, and using BFaW like you would C:SV. But that'd take upgrading 6 weapons from XII to XIV and 4x Fleet Spire consoles to XIV from scratch. Thats alot of fleet creds and dilithium required. So for now, RomPla is what I'm staying with.

Edit: Mind you, all of this is PVE. I don't pvp.

Edit Edit: Also KDF, so no reciporcacy ( spelling )

Option 2 is close to my recent builds, though a few differences.
    2xAPB1 and 1 BFAW3. I use a subsystem attack between BFAW activations.

2xHE1, 2xTSS2....With all that aux power available, I can't resist adding the damage resistances up for shields with TSS and the huge regen over time too.

Well if you're Klingon you can get 2 purple DCEs for cheap. For one you use the Emergency Engineering Hologram from Engineering CXP 4, and the other you get as a reward for the same CXP rank (or buy him for dil if you already used to token; 12k dil is a lot cheaper than Exchange prices). Fill both slots for ~2.5 million EC, one of the perks of KDF doffing.

Weapons, not sure if it has the turn rate for DBBs. I mean stationary targets sure, but the newer enemies like Undine and Vaadwaur tend to be quicker, and keeping DBBs on target with a base turn of 7 just sounds annoying to me.
