Or they could use some help from the Vaadwaur. Look how quickly the Crystal Entity goes down these days. Borg Snow Queen down in less than 20 seconds with only three people firing on 'her'. We have just become very awesome these days.

There is some merit to this, at least since they upped the requirement for completion. I was in one a couple days ago where even though I got to the rex right away I wasn't able to do enough damage to get credit before it was dead. That should be somewhat rare yet, but it will become more common as people continue upgrading their gear.

Actually the Snow Queen may have as many as 8 NPCs hitting her too....
the V-Rex actually has a lot of HP, and it does a lot of damage, if you don't believe it can do damage just hold still when it fires a mortar in your general direction.
V-Rexes don't need better stats, damage sponge mentality is stupid, if you want to make them more challenging they need more abilities not more hp/damage, more stats is the noob developer easy fix, and it only works for a while until players gets tired of running in circles while smashing their fire button for 15 minutes.
You want a more challenging V-Rex fight? what they need is:
Main stage
-Charge ability, straight line charge, deals heavy damage and knockback.
-Adds (small easy to kill npcs) lets say they spawn every minute.
-Fire breath, 180º cone, 10º width moving from right to left
-Artillery mode, becomes immune to damage and fires artillery in a concentric pattern (imagine an archery target, first artillery salvo covers the first circle, then the second, then the third, etc.).
-Jump to a certain location dealing heavy AoE damage and knockback.
-Every 25% HP lost --->beam fire at will: heavy damage phase, buffs and crouching (default c, 50% dodge) or sprinting will be necessary to survive.
This new abilities will have a written warning message and an specific animation/visual warning.
Final stage
At 25% HP V-Rex becomes immune to damage, still fires the common artillery salvoes (not the new ones), but doesn't attack.
Voths start teleporting in continuously from 4 different teleport paths that can be destroyed.
People must activate 5 artillery consoles in order to be able to damage the V-Rex again, which becomes unable to do anything for 10 seconds.
Rage stage
If it isn't killed in 10 seconds after using the artillery it will begin using his abilities more frequently, but will take 50% more damage.

Noob develeper easy fix is cryptics way to fix things. Thats why your other post, as fun as it reads (and would play) itself, is just wasted time on your part.
Remember that they "fixed" a BO-Skill just to finally get a new modifier working, which resulted in vapers paradies in pvp and in such a major dmg-buff to planetkillers, that even dedicated tanks can be one-shotted. And with dedicated (pve) tanks I mean things that can tank HSA first stage repeadetly without dying (and taking all the heat, some may forget that this is one of the aspects of something called tank).
They choose easy fixes and deal with the repercussions later. Or never.

I wouldn't. I'm well 'ard.

Exactly. The OP desperately needs a tall, frosty glass of STFU.

Why are you not rejoicing?
Of course. Too much broken stuff in ground combat at this point.
The V-Rex is not the problem. Powercreep is.

He's doing better than the Borg Snow Queen.
