Well a lot of players think the expansion was not the ' best ever' so perhaps we can focus on some improvements which Cryptic could do to make the quality of game life easier. Add yours to the thread and the most popular ones I will add to the op. Hopefully we can get some of them done.
Some of mine are:
On a failed pug stf don't have the 30 min cooldown timer.
Let us turn in marks in lots of 250
Let the exchange have a $1 billion limit again.
So what are some other things they could reasonably do??
- allow to create maxed-out characters (level, specializations, rep, crafting, etc.) (srsly, what is this stupid grind good for? Why can't I just create a character that is rdy to actually play the game...)
- critical bug fixes
- balance
- matchmaking
- ingame stats (combat tracker, pvp stats, etc)
- and have cryptic creating actual PvE endgame content or remove PvE. Atm we only have level content and broken PvP endgame.
I'd like to see more clothing, and color options, avaiable for the KDF side.
I'd also like to see a ship interior suitable for the Risian Luxury Cruiser. The ship should be a fun ship, similiar to the Tuffli or Cell ship. I'd love to see it have a dance floor and a tailor.
Have some ships that hold more than 20 people to a map. It's hard to throw parties on a ship, when you can only invite 20 people.
Open up starbases to visitors of the opposite faction. We're supposed to be under a truce, so why can't we invite the other faction for a visit?

I would love to have a party deck on that ship, sadly I don't think enough people use it to make it worth their time. But you never know.
I am sure there is something you could suggest to make the game more playable. Not major game mechanics, but quality of life improvements.
I'm sure there are, but it would be a waste of my time to write them up as the devs won't be acting on them, and the fanboiz are happy with they way things are now.
But for arguments sake :
I'd like a dilithium refund for all that rep gear I've collected but not used as reward for doing rep projects.
I'd like a return of that mission that gets awarded after collecting 10 computer core fragments in the defend refuelling depot mission.
I'd like the nerve tonic reverted back to a NON-unique item
I'd like skill points awarded based on ship type killed, somewhere around 100 cruisers per skill level increase, battleships would be worth more (like 50 killed per skill level), etc.
...just for starters until I decide if STF's are worth my time to participate again.
I would love to have a party deck on that ship, sadly I don't think enough people use it to make it worth their time. But you never know.
I know several people that would use it, as a party ship, if given the option. Heck, I'd even spend $5 to buy an optional interior for it.
I'd also like to see a full version of the Nerve Tonic dance available, as a permanent dance. They put it in Neverwinter, but the players only get half of the dance, and the NPCs get the other half of the dance.
I'd also like to see the return of other emotes that are no longer available, like the Air Guitar and Jester.
I always wonder why people ask for a removal of PvP. As a PvE player you really never have to play PvP if you do not like it. On the other hand as a PvP player you have to grind the disappointing PvE content to be able to play...
Ability to mail to all fleet admirals simultaneously at once
Ability to mail an ad-hoc group at one time, perhaps comma or semicolon-separated lists of @handles.
Fine-grained tools for searching fleet holding contributions. I.e. list the top 20 lifetime contributors of the fleet, or the top 10 between 1 January and 31 March.
Logging the queuing and cancellation of fleet holding projects in the fleet log
I'd also like to see a ship interior suitable for the Risian Luxury Cruiser. The ship should be a fun ship, similiar to the Tuffli or Cell ship. I'd love to see it have a dance floor and a tailor.
Hovering over the hull icon in the HUD shows the ship's hull points and max hull points. The same information should be present when hovering over each shield arc's icon.
Allow green, blue and purple Doffs to be put directly into fleetprojects counting as 3 / 9 / 27 - even if that means that bound Doffs don't need to be converted via cardassian/bajor/.. exchanges
Allow autofill to contribute the maximum rescources to any project.
Once you "found" a doff mission in any sector, make them stick to the corresponding department, so you have access to it without having to go back and forth, juggeling specific doffs. (Maybe even make that found mission list available accross all characters)
Give trader scrap value to the replicator.
Automatically refine dilithium on login.
Adjust some sector boundaries to allow warping to the next sector, no matter how close you got.
Automatically refill battery stacks on the ship.
Change the doff priority from purple with one fitting trade to blue with two fits, etc...
Allow auto doff priority selection with focus on a critical success.
Allow doffs and boffs to be put into your inventory or bank freely.
Make your EC balance account wide.
Doffing feels unrewarding to me, although it requires A LOT of micro management. I'd rather play an stf and get the dilithium tenfold for the time invested.
In no particular order:
-The R+D UI could use a look, often when I switch to view a different school from a previous one the UI does not change, only the header of the school I view. Whilst this is only a minor bug as clicking back and forth between the schools seems to sort it out, over a whole days crafting this is a whole lot of unnecessary clicking and grows in annoyance.
- The random game crashes, goes without saying.
- My fleet roster UI bug preventing me from promoting or demoting and FA's,(over a year we've had this now).
- The ability to turn off exchange sale messages if needed. Whilst not for all it would prevent my inbox requiring constant maintenance when I'm selling large numbers of items.
- All the fleet ideas previously mentioned by fauxpasiii with the addition of increasing the character limit for fleet mails.
- Being able to upgrade more than three items at once in the upgrade system.
- Finally, adding decimals in the selling portion of the exchange as you enter the price you're asking. I think this would prevent soooo many mistakes that soooo many people have made by mistakenly not adding enough "0's".
I could think of more if I tried, but these are the first few I thought of.
"If this will be our end, then I will have them make SUCH an end as to be worthy of rememberance! Out of torpedos you say?! Find me the ferengi!".

Then person or persons can fail groups rapidly for quick marks
Why does the exchange need a billion EC limit? So people can charge even more for things?
Can't have a honest conversation because of a white knight with power

I see your point on the first thing. I would remove the 10 mark condition if removing the timer, or remove the fail condition on a few of the stf's all together. It is getting really hard for people to get bnp's without going private.
On the exchange, there is no harm moving the limit to 1 billion. There are only a few items that trade above that and they still trade in the back channels. The exchange would just make it a little easier.
I'd like to see the fleet system improved, it feels like it has been abandoned at the mo and is a staple part of the game for a lot of players.
Feels like a wasted opportunity at times to not only build but actively support communities within sto.
Another holding would be cool. But something you could build and use, like a colony in the Delta quadrant. With a separate planet, and you can build functional buildings!
Quality of STO life improvements, eh? OK, I think I can swing that.
Geko, YOUR FIRED!
Step 1) ^^^That
Step 2) Get rid of Cogent as the routing service...they are TRIBBLE.
Step 3) If step 2 is refused fire the CTO (that's you D'angelo)
Step 4) Stop making idiotic decisions with the direction of the game (grindy TRIBBLE, monetization, etc) Too bad this has more to do with the communists in china than with Cryptic, so unless they suddenly realize that the civilized world does not in fact like this sort of thing, step 4 is impossible.
step 5) Stop with the bloated textures and/or environmental lag, or get that stuff off the server and plant it client side. In case you refuse to do this because you are thinking 'people will mess around with the textures', yes I'm sure some would. However being client side the only people it will affect is that person, no one else will see it (example: Say a person goes into the nice shiney new esd texture and adds a little graffiti to the walls, oh like "FEDERATION GO HOME")...nobody is going to see it but the person that put it there.
Step 6) Stop playing favorites and pandering to the fed side. Not everyone plays the feds...or even likes them.
I'm sure there are many more things but these would be my own priority.

Sure. We'll start the bidding a 3.5 million dilithium, and then move up from there for the upgrades.

This is at the top of my list as well. The UI is awful and badly needs to be redone.
Mine Trap Supporter
Good idea, removal of online requirement to play would be good.

Looks like a UI overhaul should be high on the list.

I mean, last time this happened the response from Cryptic was "We don't care what you want."
The time before that...same response.
And the time before that.
And the time before that.
And the time before that.
But naw, this time's totally different!
