Chell Grett still 1000 post 12/12 patch.

I am flying my Chell Grett at this very moment on my main, trying to slot the project on an alt is still requiring 1000 Q Pictures to complete. Contacted support and was told to talk to Q and Reslot the project. Done both although talking to Q yields no new dialog. Reslotted the project still costs 1000 Pictures. Am I missing something or is this just completely broken? If you are going to advertise something as only costing a set amount if you already own it, you should honor that statement. Very frustrating here.

Working as intended since the discount is for folks who has complete the Reputation Project... if you got the ship the 1st year it was out... that was before rep system and so no discount.

They are looking into it and maybe it'll get patched this event...

So, for now, to get the discount one has to complete the Reputation project on at least one character at the full 1000 cost. The discount is looking for the completion of that initial project. If you acquired the ship any other way than via the Reputation project, the discount will not apply. That's my understanding of the issue.

This has happened before, I believe its a graphical error. If you put in the 40 Q pics it should finish and give you the ship. Same thing happened to me in summer event.

Edit: just saw the above link. Well this will work for people having a graphical issue, if people are having one, which is entirely possible as well. LOL

I'm sorry but that is unacceptable. I put in the work to get it the first time around and should be credited the discount just the same. At the very least they could put 960 autographs into my inventory. If you advertise something at a certain price, it should be that price.

If you got the ship during the first year before the Rep System ... then NOPE not a graphical error ... see above ...

No arguments there ... they might still fix it ... but tbh I'm not overly confident ...

Sorry I put the 40 pics in only thing that changed is now I need 960 more pics and yes I have the ship on three toons but......they got it the first year there was no rep system then just had to turn your pics into the holliday vender when you reached 1000

I am asking support to see if they will be gracious enough to give me 960 q pics since the problem seems to only effect us 2012 folks. Will update with response.

Well support will not give me 960 Q autographs. I guess we are just supposed to hope and pray they roll out this supposed fix before the event ends. But hey, I guess so long as "most" players get their rewards what's it to them if a few are left out in the cold. They must all be vulcans.

I got my rom the chell grett last year before they bought this sytem in and I had to buy extra pictures to do it with lobi so I could get last years ship also.

its always nice to get a discount on something but sometimes when needs must you just have to bite the bullet and do things the hard way.
are you willing to wait another year for them to sort this problem out as I cant see them fixing it anytime soon.
at least once you get the project filled it will unlock the discount for any other current characters and for any future one you might create.

I cant see them giving you any free pictures to help you out here, I cant even get them to send me a console I lost on a summer event ship on my rom and should be able to reclaim for free but cant due to a bug, so I am going to have to wait until the summer event and rebuy the ship with pearls just to get this one console, the most annoying thing is I could easily claim the console on my fed and send it to my rom but the stupid things are bound to character.

(A similar hook would be needed to add the discount if you have the console that comes with the Chel Grett, but had discarded the ship -- perhaps putting the console on a different ship or keeping it in your bank.)

If you previously claimed the Chel Grett before the event reputation existed and then you discarded it, that's an even more difficult ball of wax, and one that we don't currently have the technology for which to create a solution. This case is still under development.
